Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for the week of July 20-24 tease that some exciting things are in store as DOOL caps off a summer theme. We’ve seen three weddings, so there’s one more to go. Days also has a funeral on the way, so they’re finally tying this whole “four weddings and a funeral” thing together.
On the DOOL app, the show put out an extended promo that offers more details. First, let’s talk about Vivian Alamain’s (Louise Sorel) funeral. Vivian’s casket can be seen – and later, there’s a glimpse of Vivian seemingly dead in it. Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will also inform Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash) that Vivian’s dead, so Jake’s head will be spinning.
As for Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), she’ll ask Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) if Vivian suffered. Obviously, Kate will be hoping Vivian’s death was as painful as possible!
Of course, Kate may face some backlash for her comments if she makes them too close to the casket. That’s because Vivian isn’t really dead; she’s simply scheming to avoid being sent to the slammer.
Vivian will look peaceful as this funeral plays out, but she should pop up and reveal she’s alive eventually – at least to DOOL fans! It looks like Vivian’s return stint is already winding down, but at least Vivian won’t be killed off.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will do some drinking with Gabi and find that she’s easy to get along with. As their connection starts to grow, Jake will wonder if Gabi would like to come along as his “Cin” wedding date.
Gabi will seem surprised over this plus one plan, but she’ll indeed attend Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) nuptials with Jake.
Over with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer), he’ll clear a few things up for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey). Days of Our Lives spoilers say Sarah may lash out over the woman she saw entering Xander’s room. Xander will realize Sarah misunderstood the situation, so he’ll explain and settle her down.
Afterward, Sarah will be taken aback when Xander suggests going to Ben and Ciara’s wedding together. It looks like Sarah will relent since she’ll end up sitting next to Xander at the ceremony.
Speaking of that ceremony, Ben will battle guilt over his past as it looms. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will have a dream about his messed-up sister, so Chrishell Stause will make a brief return as Jordan Ridgeway.
DOOL’s weekly promo shows Jordan in a bridal gown as she rants at a confused Ben. Jordan shouts about how Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) loved her. She argues that she should’ve been the one wearing a wedding dress like that.
It sounds like this nightmare version of Jordan will somehow twist things around and blame Ben for why her life went downhill.
Ben will wake up rattled later, so this will lead to a case of cold feet. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will fret over his mental health and whether he’s the right guy for Ciara.
Thankfully, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will give Ben a pep talk before the nuptials. Marlena is always excellent at giving advice, so she’ll tell Ben what he needs to hear.
Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) will get sick and blame Claire before the wedding, so Claire will get fired from her role as maid of honor. Nevertheless, the ceremony will actually be a sweet and beautiful one once Ciara miraculously recovers. That is, of course, until a bomb threatens to detonate and destroy the happy event!
On the bright side, Ben and Ciara should be declared husband and wife before disaster strikes. The explosion drama will bring some heroic moments for Xander, so stay tuned. We’ll keep you posted as other Days news emerges.
