Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that the week of Thanksgiving will bring big news to the NBC soap. The new Days of Our Lives weekly preview promo for the week of November 23rd is out, and we’ve got the scoop about what viewers can expect, so let’s get right into it.
First off, viewers will get to see the Horton Thanksgiving gathering this year, but there will be one guest who’s very much not welcome – Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
The promo shows Jack attempting to arrive at the Horton house with a nice flower arrangement for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), but Julie understandably won’t be happy to see Jack.
Julie will obviously know that Jack was unfaithful to Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) while she was in a coma, and so Julie will promptly shut the door in Jack’s face! We’ll see if Jack ever makes it in that door – it seems like it will be a hard sell for Jack to be anywhere near Jennifer this Thanksgiving.
Next, the new Days of Our Lives promo shows Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) in the park running into a familiar face – Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).
It looks like all that danger that Eduardo Hernandez (A Martinez) put Rafe and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) into will be over and the Hernandez siblings will be able to come home in time for Thanksgiving.
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Rafe will have a lot to catch up on, as he’ll certainly be wanting a reunion with Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso). However, he’ll quickly learn – most likely from Roman – that Hope is gone from Salem indefinitely.
As viewers know, Hope left to go chase leads on Ciara Weston (Victoria Konefal), in the event that she survived her ordeal at the hands of Vincent Bellman (Michael Teh). Rafe will probably be heartbroken to hear about Ciara, as well as about Hope being off somewhere alone looking for her.
Next, the new DOOL promo shows a quick scene indicating that Jack will come face to face with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) again – this time at the Brady Pub.
Of course, the last time that Jack and Abigail saw each other, Jack blamed Abigail for Jennifer having found out about his affair with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow). Now Abigail feels terribly, and Jack really needs to accept responsibility for what he did and make thing right with Abigail.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Jack will reconcile with Abigail this week and he’ll forgive his daughter for choosing the worst possible way to tell Jennifer about what he did. Next, Jack will need to work on getting Jennifer to forgive him, which we suspect is going to be a seriously uphill battle.
Finally, the new promo shows the big return of Gabi to the DiMera mansion. It looks like Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will be one of the first people who Gabi encounters when she enters the mansion. “Gabi, what the hell are you doing here?” Chad is heard saying. “Happy Thanksgiving to you too,”
Gabi says. “Is there any turkey left?” Of course, since Chad and Abigail are still under the impression that Gabi is the person who drugged Abigail, Chad won’t be happy to see Gabi back.
We’ll see what kind of trouble Gabi rustles up when she returns – who knows, she might be the only person at this point who can take down Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). It should definitely be interesting to see where things go from here.
