Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers preview teases that we’re in for a big week on the NBC soap from November 9 to November 13. The new DOOL promo for the week of November 9th is out, and it shows some major movement on some big storyline fronts.
First off, Belle Black (Martha Madison) will surprise Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) with a big proposal…a marriage proposal! Belle will make an impromptu proposal at the Salem PD as she gets down on one knee and asks Shawn to marry her.
It looks like Shawn will happily accept the proposal, but what’s going to be behind this big, romantic gesture?
Perhaps Belle will want Shawn to feel a little more secure in his relationship with Belle now that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) and Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) are in their seemingly daily orbits. And besides, it’s time for Belle and Shawn to make it official!
Next, the promo shows a passionate kiss between Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Claire and Theo will have a moment where they get caught up in old feelings.
“Maybe you and I could give it another try,” Claire is shown telling Theo before kissing him.
Well, it seems that Claire and Theo won’t be alone, and as they’re turning to each other, Charlie Gale (Mike C. Manning) will show up all earnest and bearing flowers for Claire.
Poor Charlie is going to be heartbroken, and he won’t stick around to hear or see what comes next, which is Theo shutting the whole thing down and saying that he’s seeing someone.
It won’t be long before Charlie is lamenting to Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) about his predicament and his hurt feelings over seeing Claire with Theo. Chances are, Xander will tell Charlie to go talk to Claire about what he saw, so hopefully Claire and Charlie can clear things up soon.
Next, the new Days of Our Lives promo addresses an exciting comeback – that of Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), who will be introduced as Philip’s new partner. Ava is shown turning up in the park and meeting with Philip, telling him that she’s here to ensure that he does what she wants.
Clearly, Ava is the person in charge in this partnership!
Well, now that we know that Ava is the person working with Philip, things make sense as to why Philip may have it out for Xander so badly.
After all, Xander did work with the DiMeras at the time when Ava was apparently held at the Nashville warehouse after being a patient of Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay). Ava may have some deep grudges against Xander.
The promo also shows a quick scene at the Kiriakis mansion during which Philip grabs a fireplace poker and seems to take a big swing at Xander. Now, whether Philip will actually follow through with that swing remains to be seen. Perhaps someone will walk in and save Xander from a terrible fate.
The new Days of Our Lives promo next moves to the contentious situation involving Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams).
Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) is shown coming to Allie’s door saying that they need to talk, and then Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is shown telling Tripp that Allie has made a decision about whether she’s going to file criminal charges against him.
Finally, the new promo addresses the horrible betrayal that Jennifer Horton (Cady McClain) is going to be feeling following Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) revelation that Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow) had a fling while Jennifer was in her coma.
“You slept with another woman when I was in a coma!” Jen fumes to Jack, before hauling off and slapping him.
Well, Jack’s not going to be happy with Abigail for publicly outing his affair at the anniversary party. Jack and Abigail are showing in the park, with Jack telling Abigail that this whole thing is her fault.
Of course, that’s not going to make Abigail very happy, and she’s shown reeling from Jack’s words, saying, “Are YOU blaming ME?”
The promo ends with Jack telling Jennifer that she deserves to know the whole truth, so it looks like there may be some sort of explanation that Jack thinks might excuse what he did, which is probably a pipe dream at this point.
Jennifer is likely going to remain furious with Jack over his affair with Kate, and Jack should have an uphill battle trying to get his marriage back on track.
