Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of September 7-11 tease that we’ll see some bold moves and huge news. First, we should note that the NBC soap will be preempted on September 7 – which is Labor Day. However, the action will pick right back up on Tuesday, so let’s dive in and talk about what you can expect.
Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will have some important updates for Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) in the week ahead. Days spoilers say Tripp will want to finish out his last year of medical school in Salem, but he’ll be a bit nervous about telling Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans). Tripp won’t want to do anything that could create a conflict of interest.
However, Steve will likely offer reassurance and insist Kayla will be happy over Tripp sticking around. Sure enough, Kayla will indeed think it’s a great idea. She’ll be glad Steve’s son will be in town to bond with his father more in the months to come.
As for Claire Brady (Isabel Durant), she’ll bump into Tripp and learn he plans to stay in Salem. Claire will deliver a heartfelt apology for all the terrible things she did before she went to Bayview.
DOOL spoilers say Tripp will see that Claire’s remorseful and will believe she’s truly changed. He may even acknowledge that he could’ve done a better job of handling things with Claire back then.
Tripp will assure Claire that all is forgiven, but their relationship could remain a bit awkward for a while. Over with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), she’ll receive some troubling info from Eli Grant (Lamon Archer).
Since we know Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will get caught and arrested soon, that may be the news Eli has to break.
Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will get into a heated argument with Kristen later. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) will be a source of contention, so Kristen may not buy the idea that Victor genuinely wants to help her.
Of course, Brady knows Victor has truly been trying to make things right. Victor was even willing to say he lied about Kristen stabbing him, but changing their story would’ve caused major problems according to Eli.
Brady could’ve ended up in serious trouble, so they ditched that plan before Brady went on the run with Kristen and Rachel DiMera Black.
Once Kristen’s arrested, she’ll need a way out of the mess she’s in – and Lani will put a lot on the line for her. Meanwhile, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will catch up with her loved ones and contemplate who actually drugged her.
Part of Abby will still think it may have been Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), but another part of her will fear there’s more to the story.
There’s indeed another angle to work since Gabi’s innocent just this once. As for Jake Lambert (Brandon Barash), he’ll tip Abigail off to whatever’s going on between Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) and Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) – which isn’t really anything at all.
Chad will confess about the kiss, so an infuriated Abby will slap him before he has a chance to explain.
Nevertheless, Abigail will offer forgiveness once she settles down and gets the full picture. This was just Gwen’s attempt to stir up some jealousy in Jake, so Abigail will give Chad a pass.
As for Gwen, she’ll apologize when confronted and hope to from a friendship with Abigail. Of course, there’s always an agenda when it comes to Gwen, so look for her to make some sneaky moves along the way.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Vincent (Michael Teh) will drive Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) somewhere. Vincent will undoubtedly have something dreadful up his sleeve, but Ciara will fight back and get the upper hadn’t briefly. Unfortunately, it won’t be long until Ciara’s stuck in a deadly jam!
Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will move forward with an urgent rescue. They’ll all be desperate to find Ciara, but Ben will take the lead in the end. There’ll be some struggles as Ben pulls out all the stops to rescue his wife.
While that Ciara mission’s going on, Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) reunion with Belle Black (Martha Madison) won’t go the way he expects. Belle may not be all that happy to see Philip since she’ll know his presence makes Shawn uncomfortable.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will rip into Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) over all this custody mayhem. Sami’s been fighting hard for Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) baby, but she’s created a total circus in the process!
Finally, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will await the judge’s official ruling. It’s taken several tries to deliver that ruling thanks to Sami, but the judge should finally be ready to decide this custody issue once and for all.
