Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) will try to focus on the future. After he signs the divorce papers along with Will Horton (Chandler Massey), Sonny will assume that’s that. He’ll close the door on this chapter with Will and hope he can somehow find a way forward.
Sonny will give Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) updates on those signed divorce papers, so his dad should offer plenty of support. They’ll reflect on Adrienne Kiriakis’ (Judi Evans) death setting all this in motion and wish things had turned out differently. In a perfect world, Adrienne would still be alive and Will would be free of guilt, but Salem is far from perfect!
Even so, half of that scenario happens to be true. Adrienne isn’t coming back to life, although never say never since this is Days! Will, however, is indeed innocent – and Ciara Brady’s (Victoria Konefal) about to tell him so.
Ciara will be a bit torn as she prepares for this visit. Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) and Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) don’t want Ciara spilling the real story. In fact, Victor wanted Ciara to promise that she’d keep quiet, but that just wasn’t a promise Ciara could make.
Ciara can understand why Victor and Xander would want to protect Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers), who was actually to blame for Adrienne’s demise. Nevertheless, Ciara won’t see why Will should sit behind bars for a crime he didn’t commit.
Like Ciara said before, Will should be free to spend time with his family. He deserves the chance to reconnect with Sonny and Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower).
Ciara will do her best to give Will that chance, and she has to start by coming clean. On January 24, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will stun Will with her confession. She’ll insist that Will’s innocent, so it sounds like Will’s going to hear the wild setup story and wonder what to do next.
