General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) scheme could be in jeopardy. GH fans know Brando was eager to join Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) team with a goal in mind.
Although Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) initially had concerns, Sonny approved Brando’s plan to go undercover with Cyrus’ organization.
However, it’s clear that Brando is in over his head here! Brando already raised red flags by going against Cyrus’ wishes and taking Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) to General Hospital instead of dumping her somewhere. Now Brando has seen just how low Cyrus will sink firsthand.
Sasha is important to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) – and therefore important to Sonny. That’s why Brando won’t abandon Sasha in the tough moments ahead. It seems like this ordeal created a bond between them since Brando will support Sasha again soon.
That’ll obviously bring more chances for slipups and Cyrus blunders, but there’s a bigger problem to worry about now. What happens once Brando realizes Cyrus was behind the disaster at The Floating Rib?
Brando had grown to truly care about Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab). The fact that Cyrus took out Brando’s fake son is going to be a huge deal to him.
Brando could go wrong since he’ll want Cyrus to pay for killing Dev. Will Brando start spouting accusations and potentially blurt out something he shouldn’t? Brando’s life could be at risk if he pushes Cyrus too hard or worse, tips his hand.
Since Brando is actually still working for Sonny, that’s something Cyrus could suspect and ultimately go after Brando for.
Will Brando face the same fate as Dev? No one is safe since we’re seeing the result of cast cuts right now. There’s certainly still a chance Johnny Wactor could get cut as Brando. Even if Brando stays on GH, he could still face some terrifying moments if things go south with Cyrus.
On the flip side, maybe Cyrus has a reason to be fearful, too! Brando’s bound to feel vengeful and may be in the prime position to take Cyrus out. General Hospital spoilers say danger will erupt all over again, so we’ll give you updates as other news pops up.
