General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Britt Westbourne’s (Kelly Thiebaud) latest return stint was far too brief! Britt hooked up with Julian Jerome (William deVry) and spilled what she saw between Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) at that hotel. Britt also had a few quick reunions and made a few waves at GH.
However, that was the extent of Britt’s visit – and it wasn’t enough! Many General Hospital viewers would like to see Britt back on canvas permanently. Britt should at least come back for a longer return stint next time. Even if Britt doesn’t stick around indefinitely, there’d be some great stories waiting for Britt if she returned. Here are four reasons Britt needs to return to Port Charles.
1) Britt’s a likable schemer
Britt has taken part in her fair share of schemes, but she’s still likable. That’s a tricky task to pull off, so that says a lot about Thiebaud’s talent. Britt doesn’t want to do anything that could put her freedom in jeopardy, but it wouldn’t hurt to have Britt be a mischief-maker. Port Charles could always use some fun characters to stir up trouble here and there.
2) Nikolas and Spencer need help
Nikolas Spencer (Marcus Coloma) and Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) could use a little help repairing their bond. Even if Nikolas decides he’s willing to divorce Ava Jerome (Maura West), there’s a lot of damage to repair with Spencer. Britt’s the perfect person to get in the middle of all this and bring this father and son together.
3) Liesl’s freedom looms
Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is innocent of the crimes Peter August (Wes Ramsey) pinned on her, so she’ll get off the hook eventually. Once Liesl’s free, maybe Britt should apologize for not being more supportive. It’d be nice to see Britt and Liesl form a stronger bond once Liesl’s cleared of all the charges.
4) Another solid love interest option
Soaps could always use another solid love interest to throw in the mix. Julian isn’t the only guy that Britt could hook up with! There’d be lots more to choose from if Britt had longer to stay and play! Britt can bring the heat when the story calls for it, so it’d be interesting to see what her next romance would look like.
