General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will soon add to his heartbreak. Jason recently lost Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), who felt like she had to dump Jason for the sake of the kids.
Sam just can’t deal with Jason’s risky lifestyle any longer and is determined to give her children a greater sense of normalcy.
It was a tough blow for Jason, but he accepted Sam’s decision and even acknowledged to Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he let this happen. Jason argued that he knew better and never should’ve been a father.
Unfortunately, Jason will face another difficult blow over Sonny’s disappearance and possible presumed death. Can you imagine the pain Jason will be in? Not to mention the stress Jason will be under due to Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) pressure.
Cyrus will take advantage of Sonny’s absence and make Jason’s life a lot harder, so Jason will surely need a way to deal with everything he’s up against. It may not be long until Jason lands in bed with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
There are some huge clues that a Jason and Britt hookup is looming. It might even lead to a full-fledged romance or another major development in Jason’s life.
Let’s take a closer look at that comment Jason made to Sonny – the one about how he knew he shouldn’t be a father. Could that be a hint from the GH writers that Jason will actually become one again?
What if Britt ends up pregnant down the road? That’d be quite a twist considering Sam broke things off with Jason to keep the kids safe.
General Hospital fans know how soaps operate. It’s all about creating drama and making the lives of these characters complicated. That often means characters who desperately want something can’t have it – and characters won’t don’t want something end up facing it after all.
Jason has acknowledged that fatherhood shouldn’t have been part of the picture for him, so he’s become a prime candidate to be a daddy all over again. Could Britt be the one to make that happen?
It’d be interesting to see Jason’s reaction as well as Sam’s! A baby bombshell would shake things up in a big way, so we’ll see how it all plays out in the months ahead.
