General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) has been a bright spot during a difficult time for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane). Since Brook Lynn doesn’t want Ned Quartermaine’s (Wally Kurth) pity, she would’ve been all alone right now if it weren’t for Chase. He’s been kind and helpful, so Brook Lynn’s appreciative of the good detective’s support.
Brook Lynn’s adamant about not returning to the Quartermaine mansion she was thrown out of, so Chase assumed that meant she’d be couch surfing. Chase sweetly offered to let Brook Lynn in, which caught her off guard and warmed her heart.
Brook Lynn and Chase were interrupted before they could finish their conversation, but it looks like BLQ’s indeed going to become Chase’s roomie.
Of course, this brings the potential for major temptation! Chase has been lonely ever since he tricked Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) into believing he had an affair with Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson).
Brook Lynn got shot down by Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) after she planted a kiss, so she’s clearly looking for love deep down. The timing is perfect for Brook Lynn and Chase to come together.
When two people live together, they’re typically going to grow closer. It comes with the territory of living in close quarters. When you throw in the fact that Chase and Brook Lynn are both struggling right now, it’ll give them another reason to connect.
Once Brook Lynn’s throat heals a bit more and she gets to know Chase a bit better, she’s bound to move from the couch to the bedroom.
Things will surely sizzle between Chase and Brook Lynn based on this soapy setup for passion. General Hospital might let Brook Lynn and Chase become friends with benefits at first. Then again, maybe the spark will be too strong for that.
Brook Lynn and Chase might realize they’re both ready for a full-blown romance. It all depends on how fast GH writers want to let this new pairing progress.
Regardless, Brook Lynn seems poised to move in with her soon-to-be boyfriend! It’ll be interesting to see how Willow reacts if Chase starts dating Brook Lynn. This situation could get pretty messy once the truth about Chase and Sasha’s faux cheating comes out.
