General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) will march over to the Corinthos family home and blow right past Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright). Carly will open the door and ask how she can help him, but Cyrus will insist she can’t.
Instead, Cyrus will make a beeline for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and demand to know where his mother is.
Since Jason is Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand man, Cyrus will assume Jason’s the only one who had the authority to order Florence Grey’s (Annie Abbott) kidnapping.
General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will lash out at Jason, but it’s tough to believe Carly will stay tight-lipped about her role in this.
Carly seems pretty proud of herself for handling things, so she’ll probably do a little gloating. Cyrus may be taken aback if Carly pipes up about doing what she had to do in Sonny’s absence.
Perhaps Carly will assure Cyrus that Sonny will be back, but she’s more than willing to do her part in the meantime.
Once Cyrus realizes Carly was behind Florence’s abduction, he should be even angrier. Cyrus underestimated what Carly could pull off, but she’s also underestimated what he’s capable of.
This is a man who fights back when he’s feeling wronged, so Carly’s putting a target on her back. Cyrus will stop at nothing to make sure Florence is under his care again.
However, Carly could be in trouble no matter what. Even if Jason calls for Florence’s return or Cyrus manages to force a hostage exchange, Carly’s probably going to pay for what she did. Cyrus isn’t the type of guy who just forgives and forgets.
With that in mind, Cyrus might vow to specifically take Carly down. He already has information on Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) that he could send to the feds – and that info would cause problems for everyone who helped Dev stay in the country illegally.
Nevertheless, that may not be enough for Cyrus. He could easily find himself on the hunt for far worse dirt. We might even see Cyrus bug Carly’s office or part of her house. Cyrus has eyes and ears everywhere, so he has ways of finding out things.
Carly’s keeping some huge secrets – like the fact that Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) hand slipped through Carly’s grasp just before Nelle plummeted off the cliff.
Carly also knows Nelle is Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) biological daughter, so Cyrus might become privy to all this information and resolve to get Carly thrown in prison for Nelle’s murder.
GH fans know Carly was genuinely trying to help Nelle, but it won’t seem that way to the cops if they learn Carly covered up what really happened. Cyrus might make some moves that lead to Nelle’s case being reopened.
At the very least, Cyrus could record Carly spilling too much and make sure Nina gets a copy. Then, Cyrus could potentially sit back and watch vengeful Nina deal with Carly for him!
One way or another, all these Nelle-related secrets have to come out. Carly herself told Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) that cover-ups never end well, so she seemingly predicted her own fate.
Now that Carly’s made a grave error in judgment, Cyrus might gather all the evidence he can and sink Carly like she never thought possible. We’ll bring you updates as other GH news pops up.
