General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, January 4 – Cyrus Demands Missing Mother from Jason – Jax Wants Josslyn Out of the Country

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, January 4, tease that some exciting storylines will get even hotter. Before we get to all the action happening, we should note that GH will air an encore episode on Thursday, December 31. General Hospital will be preempted on Friday, January 1, which means the show will pick up where it left on once Monday rolls around.

GH is sure to deliver an episode that’s worth the wait, so let’s talk about some of Monday’s shockers and tense confrontations. At the PCPD, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) will insist she needs to speak with Marcus Taggert (Asante Jones) before he’s released.

Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) will face more backlash as Portia blasts her for keeping the news of Taggert’s survival under wraps. Taggert’s going to get another earful as well, but what’ll matter most right now is Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).

Trina is understandably hurt and furious with her dad, but Portia will insist that Taggert needs to put in the work and repair their father-daughter bond.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will do what she does best right now. Of course, that’s drink and run her mouth! “Have you two fallen in love?” drunk Alexis asks in Monday’s preview video.

It looks like Alexis will pose the question to Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma), so they won’t be shy about sharing their true feelings.

When Alexis makes some insulting remarks, Ava will fire back. General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will eventually intervene, which will cause a big fight with Ava.

“I believe I have that right!” Ava shouts in Monday’s preview clip. Ava may contend that if someone attacks her marriage, she has a right to defend it.

Alexis might also mention the news about Julian Jerome’s (William deVry) body being discovered. Perhaps Ava will feel like she has the right to defend her brother if Alexis trashes him. Whatever the case, Nikolas will have to settle Ava down and convince her he’ll be there no matter what.

Next, Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) will form some plans that may not go over well. “I’m gonna take her away whether she likes it or not,” Jax tells Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) on Monday.

Jax may feel like this mob mayhem has escalated to the point where he needs to whisk Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) off to Australia. Josslyn may not approve, but Jax might feel like he has to put his daughter’s safety first.

However, Nina will offer some guidance that surprises Jax on Monday. It might be surprising if Nina goes against Jax on this and argues that Joss should stay in Port Charles. Josslyn is almost an adult, so Nina might worry that Jax will damage their relationship if he orders Joss around now.

Josslyn would also miss out on the rest of her senior year in Port Charles and plenty of moments that she can’t get back. Maybe Nina will think it’d be better to keep things as normal as possible for Josslyn since Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) died and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is missing.

That’s a lot of change to deal with, so Joss is going to need her friends to lean on.

While Nina catches Jax off guard, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will do the same during a conversation with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Laura will insist she needs Martin to give her leverage against their brother.

Martin will seem taken aback at the thought of Laura playing dirty like this, but Laura will think of it more like doing what she has to do.

Since Martin hates Cyrus, he may go along with Laura’s plan and make a bigger mess for their twisted family. Speaking of Cyrus’ family, GH fans know Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) just made a bold move. Carly found out what facility Cyrus’ mother, Florence Gray (Annie Abbott), was in and had her taken.

Florence has been safely abducted, so Carly feels she’s got leverage that’ll prevent this war from escalating. If Cyrus makes a move against Sonny’s operation, he’ll risk his mother getting hurt or worse. Jason will explode over Carly making this unilateral decision – one that could drive Cyrus to his darkest place yet.

“This is all you, isn’t it?” Cyrus argues in Monday’s preview clip. Will Cyrus assume Laura’s to blame since she just put on a show about cooperating with each other?

Regardless, Cyrus will be truly enraged – and someone’s going to pay for this! It won’t be long until Cyrus corners Jason and demands some answers about his missing mother, so another fierce faceoff is brewing.

As other GH updates roll in, we’ll bring you up to speed. General Hospital spoilers say some wild stuff’s in store, so don’t miss all the action happening on Monday and beyond. CDL will have lots of other sizzling General Hospital spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so pop back in soon.
