General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, July 31, reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do some digging while Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) plans a quick getaway.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will also summon someone for help, so some great stuff is coming up in Port Charles.
For starters, Jason just saw Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) speaking with Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) at the hospital, so he’ll launch a bit of an investigation.
After Jason asks Britt how much she knows about the new doctor at GH, Britt may admit she doesn’t know much other than he’s a cardiac surgeon and someone she doesn’t get along with.
Tristan accompanied Jason back to Port Charles and clearly has a WSB connection.
Based on Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) latest hospital visit, Tristan isn’t happy about the WSB pressure and has insisted he’ll give his reports when there’s something to report.
While more Tristan-related mysteries unravel, Ethan will remain rattled now that he’s caught a glimpse of Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) at the Metro Court pool.
There’s obviously a link between Ethan and Hudson that he’d rather not revisit.
It won’t be long until Ethan tracks Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) down to give her some massive news.
Since we know Ethan’s about to make his Port Charles escape, he may surprise Lulu with an announcement about getting out of town fast.
Next, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will be thrown for a loop, so that may involve “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) and his latest declaration that Britt must die.
Although Anna might act like that punishment is extreme, “Peter” will double down on it being the only path to true safety for Anna and her loved ones.
As for Sonny and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), they’ll have a meeting to discuss Sonny regaining some power in Port Charles.
Sonny will apparently hope to get back the piers he sold to Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and will have a tactic to score them at a low price.
Sonny will eventually call Jason over for backup, so that’ll give Jason a chance to see just how much Sonny and Ric have bonded.
Jason isn’t going to like it, but Sonny will hope he can find a way to make peace with Ric.
Of course, Jason’s priority is being a good dad to Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), so he may shock Sonny soon with the decision to step away from the mob and all the danger it brings.
In the meantime, Danny will be a topic of discussion for Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) when their feud erupts at the Metro Court pool.
Brook Lynn will stand up for Danny and his right to be in Scout Quartermaine’s (Kayden Brenna Tokarksi) life, but Drew won’t think she gets a say in this.
Drew will also warn about his plans to totally ruin the Quartermaines and will gloat about the victory ahead.
We should also talk about the softball league action that’s coming up since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will give Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) some tips ahead of the game.
Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) will also question Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) about whether he might’ve caught something that everyone else didn’t notice.
We’ll see if that involves softball strategizing or even Sidwell’s trial takedown.
General Hospital spoilers suggest Joe and Lucas could become a couple down the line, so stay tuned for any bonding that might start them down a romantic road.
