General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap star is headed to primetime. GH viewers know Chad Duell as Michael Corinthos in Port Charles, but he recently scored a hot new role and will appear on The CW’s Arrow next week. You can catch Duell’s guest appearance on Tuesday, January 21.
As for the details of Duell’s character, the show’s keeping those hush-hush. It turns out even revealing who Duell’s playing would give too much away! In an interview with ABC Soaps in Depth, Duell talked about his mystery role and refused to budge on offering any hints.
“Oh no, it would definitely be a spoiler,” Duell said. “I can’t say anything about the character, but I can say fans will get to see a very different side that they aren’t used to.” Duell also indicated that he had a blast filming at Arrow, which is currently winding down its final season. In fact, Duell’s character appears in the next-to-last episode of the entire series.
So let’s look at the clues here. The show’s nearing its conclusion, and everyone’s being awfully secretive. Duell is playing a character that’s apparently nothing like sweet, sensitive Michael. With all that in mind, it’s pretty safe to assume that Duell’s character is a major villain. It sounds like the show’s building to some bitter battle, so it should be fun to watch Duell do something dark.
Of course, Michael is bound to get a little dark as well down the road! We’re inching closer and closer to the inevitable baby swap reveal. It’s been a long time coming, but things are finally moving along now that Nelle Benson Archer’s (Chloe Lanier) out of Pentonville. The “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) storyline is really going to heat up.
General Hospital spoilers say Michael’s sure to blow his top after the truth finally comes out. Nelle and Brad Cooper (Parry Shen) made him believe his son was dead! Michael’s going to unleash his fury like never before, so maybe this Arrow gig will be a taste of what we’ll eventually see on GH.
