General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will feel unsettled during the week of April 6-10. Some intimidation tactics will throw Michael off his game, so we can only assume Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) will be responsible. Thanks to Nelle’s upcoming move, Michael may fear his custody case has taken a serious hit.
After all, how can Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) and her conspiracy crew get away with their latest plot at GH? No one is arguing that Nelle is a good mom, but she’s indeed Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) biological mother. Nelle has rights whether Carly likes it or not. As Nelle pointed out, Carly is the grandma here and Nelle is the parent.
Right or wrong, Nelle was entitled to withhold her consent. After Carly trapped Nelle on the roof and forged her signature, Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) put that paper through the shredder.
There’s no proof that Nelle ever signed off on this procedure – and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) confirmed that Nelle was indeed locked on the roof. Her story against Carly will surely look legit in court.
Nelle may tell Michael to pass along some words of gratitude to Carly. She might suggest she talked it over with her lawyer and determined that night on the roof was a blessing in disguise. A few hours in the cold would be worth it if Nelle gets full custody as a result.
Of course, Nelle may have more strategy surprises along the way. Michael keeps insisting he’ll do whatever it takes for Wiley, but he hasn’t taken the step that’d really help: marrying Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen).
We should note that Willow will worry herself sick right around the time Michael feels intimidated. The pieces seem to be coming together for Michael and Willow’s wedding.
Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) adores Willow and doesn’t want to miss out on their future together. How far will Chase go to keep that future intact? General Hospital spoilers say Chase will hope to pull off something sneaky during the week of April 13-17. It turns out Chase will try to trick Michael, so could that be related to this marriage idea?
Since General Hospital spoilers state that Chase will “try” instead of actually tricking Michael, that’s probably significant. It could be a huge indicator that Chase’s plan will backfire.
Will Chase want to deceive Michael in hopes of making this Willow marriage fall through? Chase will be a desperate man, so we wouldn’t rule it out!
As for how that would backfire, Michael might catch on fast. You can bet Willow would berate Chase for hindering what would help Wiley. Chase’s wedding roadblock could become a green light instead.
Willow might be even more convinced this is what she has to do. If Chase can’t back her up on helping an innocent child – the child she once believed was her own son – Willow may not want anything to do with him.
