General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one ABC soap star recently shared a message about love and friendship. GH viewers know Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) body was discovered on the Pennsylvania side of the river, so practically all of Port Charles is relieved.
However, Nelle has a knack for coming back when you least expect her, so there’s a good chance she’ll turn up again anyway down the road.
In the meantime, Chloe Lanier had some words of wisdom to pass along on Instagram. Nelle hasn’t been all that lucky in the friend department due to her penchant for betrayals, but Lanier’s got plenty of great pals in real life!
Lanier decided to give two of them a shoutout to honor a major milestone in their friendship circle and remind fans of what’s really important.
“We’re living in an echo chamber where we’re constantly being told what to think, feel and say by an algorithm,” Lanier said in her post. “Where there’s no room for nuance or civil discourse on virtually any topic. Lets remember that free thinking is integral to humanity. Lets remember that love and empathy should be our guiding light.”
Lanier included a picture of herself after meeting up with two of her friends, Erika and Mackenzie, for a little reunion. “And I love these two deeply,” the General Hospital star said as she wrapped up her grateful post. “Thank you @erikaythrasher @mackorr for over a decade of friendship.”
It’s an awesome message about keeping bonds that matter alive and thinking freely with love as your guide. Over a decade of friendship is certainly something to celebrate, so we wish Lanier and her pals another 10 years and beyond.
As for what’s ahead in Port Charles, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will strengthen a friendship that could set her up for trouble down the road. Carly’s growing closer to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), who’s on the hunt for her biological daughter.
Nelle is that bio daughter – and she’s dead for the time being due to Carly’s butterfingers at the cliff edge!
