General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab) will realize he has to play dirty to get what he wants. Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) was uncomfortable when Dev was hitting on her at the homecoming dance. Although Joss previously had a crush on Dev, he shut her down and now she wants Cameron Webber (William Lipton).
Dev knows he blew it and is hoping to undo the damage, but Cam’s in his way. After Dev caught Cameron kissing Josslyn, he reminded Cam of his feelings for Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).
Dev even urged Cam to just tell both girls that he only wanted friendship, but Cameron couldn’t do that when he’s still so confused about his feelings.
Cam just isn’t sure what he wants, so Dev will hope to steer him in the right direction – or at least the direction that’d work best for Dev! Josslyn will do a little scheming beforehand, but it’ll go awry. There might be some situation where Joss tries to finagle some alone time with Cam and fails miserably.
Whatever the case, Dev will see an opportunity and take advantage of it a little later. During the week of October 12-16, General Hospital spoilers say Dev will resort to manipulation. He’ll most likely trick Cameron or perhaps play some mind games in hopes of pushing Cam toward Trina.
Dev might realize that he technically sabotaged his own chances with Joss. When Dev revealed Cameron’s crush to Josslyn, it changed her perception of him. It was only then that Joss really saw Cameron as more than a friend and started wanting a romance.
It’s possible Dev will lie to Cameron about Joss confessing to him. If Dev acts like Josslyn wasn’t into the kiss on The Haunted Star, that could make Cameron’s choice a whole lot easier. Dev might fib that Joss just wants to be friends but doesn’t want to hurt Cam.
If Dev plays this just right, Cameron might go to Joss and mention that there were no sparks. Maybe Cam will feel like he needs to give Josslyn an “out” – even though there most certainly were sparks flying during that lip lock.
Then again, Dev might just praise Trina’s great qualities and lie that he’s thinking about making his move with her. Maybe Dev will try to stir up some jealousy and convince Cam to make his own move with Trina while he still can.
No matter what strategy Dev uses, he’ll hope it ends with Cameron and Trina becoming a couple. If it hurts Joss, then so be it. Dev will be more than willing to serve as a shoulder to cry on!
Of course, Dev could be setting himself up for trouble if Cam and Joss find out about his sneakiness. In the meantime, Josslyn may get her heartbroken and turn to Dev for comfort. We’ll provide updates as other GH news pops up.
