General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Friday, October 16, tease that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) will insist it’s make-up time. Monica will force Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) to meet with Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and hope that it’ll lead to peace.
Unfortunately, GH fans can expect Monica’s plan to backfire, so it sounds like Brook Lynn may end up even angrier than before.
Next, Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will bicker with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about the whole blackmail situation. “I can live with it,” Franco says with a shrug. “What if I can’t?” Liz wonders.
Franco may insist that if there’s still a chance for them to score the money, they have to take it. This could change their lives and take care of the boys, but Liz still won’t feel right about any of it.
Of course, things are a bit up in the air at the moment since Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) is being pressured into a divorce. Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) rejected Ava’s deal and wants her to come back with signed divorce papers, so she’ll remain in a bind.
Ava has feelings for Nikolas Cassadine – and on Friday, she’ll admit she’s starting to believe Nik cares about her, too. General Hospital spoilers say Ava will confide in Julian Jerome (William deVry), who may remind her that his life is on the line.
If Ryan unleashes the secrets in Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could kill him.
GH fans can expect Julian to get reassurance from Ava eventually, so she may promise to move ahead with the divorce. There’s no guarantee Ava will keep that promise, but Julian may be hopeful in this moment.
However, there’ll be some other Sonny-related drama in Friday’s GH episode. Sonny will pay Julian a visit at Charlie’s Pub and propose some sort of arrangement.
When Julian suggests he’s not interested, Sonny will point out Julian doesn’t really have the luxury of turning him down. Since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has already been sniffing around Julian and wants to buy the pub, Sonny may think Julian can help with the takedown.
It appears Sonny will make Julian an offer he can’t refuse!
As for Nikolas, he’ll seek guidance from Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and try to figure out his next move. Nikolas will also show up for a meeting on the pier – presumably with Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner).
It looks like Nikolas may try to negotiate a bit based on Friday’s preview video. Nikolas has a manila envelope in his hands in the clip and says, “You take it now or the deal is off.”
Over with Dev Cerci aka “Dev Corbin” (Ashton Arbab), he’ll catch Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) by surprise. Joss will look uncomfortable as Dev asks if she wants to go out on the lake and watch the stars.
Josslyn may sense that Dev’s still pursuing a romance when she already tried to let him down gently. However, Joss will probably just keep dancing around the issue and may even agree to Dev’s plan. It’s easy to imagine Josslyn suggesting that some stargazing between FRIENDS wouldn’t hurt.
Regardless, Dev will hope he can use his smooth moves to score a shot with Joss. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) will even be manipulated as part of Dev’s scheme, so this may tie in with the journal Dev stole. There’ll surely be some way for Dev to use Joss’ diary to his advantage.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will do some strategizing with Sonny on Friday. Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) has Cyrus right where he wants him, so his plot with Sonny and Jason will press on.
Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will battle concerns about how this is going down, but Jason will promise “it’s better this way.”
