General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that there’s a troubling link between two newlyweds. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) made a commitment for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) sake, but GH fans know Michael also offered a warning.
Before Willow became Michael’s wife, he wanted her to know what she was signing up for. Michael noted that Willow would soon be part of two complicated families, but the Corinthos clan is arguably the most complex family here. It’s at least the most dangerous one!
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) is currently in the middle of a mob war with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Although they called a truce, Cyrus and Sonny are still plotting against each other. It’s only a matter of time until this battle revs up once again.
Willow could be caught in all that drama, especially due to her mom’s Cyrus connection. Harmony Miller (Inga Cadranel) has been trying to play by Cyrus’ rules to keep Willow and even Wiley safe. Cyrus is a monster when it comes to going after people’s loved ones. He doesn’t hold back or display any sign of a conscience at all.
Harmony has also expressed doubt that she’ll even live long herself due to this Cyrus link. There’s a good chance Harmony’s instincts will be right! What happens if Sonny crosses Cyrus or gets caught trying to take him down?
Cyrus could easily have Harmony killed to send a message. This guy needs to make a deadly move or two to raise the stakes and show he means business.
Of course, General Hospital can’t kill off Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) or someone who really matters, but they could get rid of Harmony without any backlash. It’d just serve as a way to propel the story forward, which is the goal.
Now that Michael has married Willow, it’s crystal clear how important she is as a fill-in mom for Wiley. Cyrus might suggest that first he went after the mother of the bride; next time he might go after the bride herself.
Killing Harmony might be a good tactic to escalate the conflict and make Willow wonder if marrying Michael was really the right call!
