General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will be concerned about Violet Barnes (Jophielle). GH fans know Hayden Barnes (Rebecca Budig) was tricked into leaving town and going into hiding. No one’s been able to get in touch with Hayden to let her know that it’s safe to come home. Nikolas Cassadine’s (Marcus Coloma) actions have cost Violet her mom – at least for now.
Violet’s a pretty easy-going kid, so she’s adjusted nicely. For a kid who suddenly gained a dad she never knew, Violet’s done remarkably well. She bonded with Finn quickly and hasn’t really acted out over losing her mommy.
Even so, Finn knows this has to be tough on Violet. Hayden was Violet’s whole world up until she was introduced to Finn. It’s only natural for Violet to miss Hayden a great deal.
General Hospital spoilers say Violet has a birthday coming up, which will lead to Finn’s worries. He’ll end up confiding in Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) in the new GH episode airing Monday, March 16.
Finn will bring Liz up to speed on Violet’s B-day and reflect on the only thing she wants. Sadly, it’s the one thing Finn can’t offer. Violet will want to see Hayden, but Finn just doesn’t know how to make that happen.
Of course, we have to wonder where GH writers are going with this. It’s possible it’s just another way to show Finn’s struggles in the aftermath of Hayden’s disappearance. However, we should also consider the possibility that there’s more to the story.
Since Violet hasn’t mentioned Hayden all that much and it’s suddenly her birthday, maybe General Hospital has a surprise in the works.
Finn can’t get in touch with Hayden, but could Hayden get in touch with Violet? We all know how hard it’ll be for this mom to ignore her beloved daughter’s birthday. It’s tough to believe Hayden will be able to resist sending Violet a message of some sort. Hayden might be able to get a gift to Violet along with a letter.
If there’s a video, that’d be even better. GH fans would surely like to see Hayden in some capacity just like Violet. The poor kid deserves to have her birthday wish granted! There’s even the possibility that Hayden could sneak back into Port Charles briefly and meet with Violet in a quick moment alone.
That’d be risky, but Hayden should be awfully desperate. She could always pop in and leave before Finn sees her or ever has a chance to explain. Whatever the case, Hayden may reach out in some form as Violet’s birthday draws near.
As a mom who misses her daughter like crazy, it seems like the logical thing to do. Hayden wants to protect Violet due to Nik’s false claims, but she has to protect her heart, too.
