General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that one ABC soap alum recently offered some huge news on Instagram. Hayley Erin (ex-Kiki Jerome) posted some great pics along with some birthday wishes for her husband – wait, husband?! Erin took the low-key approach when it came to announcing her surprise marriage and honeymoon.
“Had to pop in and wish my husband a happy day of birth,” Erin said in her post. She expressed her love for her hubby, Irish actor Adam Fergus. Erin also wanted to give the lodge where they’ve been staying a shoutout for being the perfect honeymoon spot. “And many thanks to the incomparable @sheenfalls for our honeymoon,” Erin said.
Naturally, Erin’s updates came as a shock to many General Hospital fans as well as many GH stars and alums. Let’s look at some of the congratulatory words that were sent to Erin in the comments. Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos) gushed, “Look how life unfolds !!! So beautiful!!! congratulations”
Sofia Mattsson (Sasha Gilmore) was also surprised and thrilled for Erin. “Whaat?! Congratulations!!!” Mattsson said. Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) expressed her own shock and jokingly wondered, “is the bachelorette party information to follow?” “CONGRATULATIONS! So happy for you beauty,” Rebecca Budig (ex-Hayden Barnes) commented.
Erin also received congratulatory messages from Michelle Stafford (ex-Nina Reeves), Tamara Braun (ex-Kim Nero, ex-Carly Corinthos) and even fellow former Kiki portrayer, Kristen Alderson. “Husband!?!” Alderson said. “Yay!!! Congratulations!!!! You two are beyond amazing together, so happy for you!”
Fergus called Erin his wife in his own Instagram post, so they’re both feeling and spreading the love. Plenty of General Hospital fans hopped on the celebratory bandwagon and let Erin know they were excited to hear about this big change in her relationship status.
It looks like Erin’s having a blast and enjoying married life, so we wish her the best along with Fergus!
For a while, it looked like Kiki might be poised for a GH comeback in some form. Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) could certainly use some closure – and there were a ton of Kiki mentions around the time of the portrait unveiling.
However, it doesn’t currently seem like Erin’s set to return anytime soon since she’s out there on her new marriage adventure.
