General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) has a real problem on her hands, As GH viewers know, Jordan has found herself in an unwanted partnership with Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober). Cyrus is totally pulling the strings at this point, and he’s basically got Jordan’s future in his hands, since he knows that Jordan was a part of the task force that framed him and put him in prison.
Of course, Cyrus is happy to hold that information over Jordan’s head, and now he’s making Jordan be his person on the inside at the PCPD so that he can traffic his drugs in and through Port Charles. It’s a terrible situation for Jordan, but she’s got other problems, too.
She’s got Mac Scorpio (John J. York) working on TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) kidnapping case, and he’s determined to crack the case.
The problem here is that Jordan knows that Cyrus was behind the kidnapping, but if Mac finds out about that, then he’s probably going to put two and two together and realize that there’s something going on between Jordan and Cyrus.
That’s something that Jordan doesn’t want to happen, because if it does, then she could very well go down for framing Cyrus years ago. And if Jordan goes down for framing Cyrus, she could wind up in prison herself, which for a police commissioner is as good as a death sentence.
Jordan obviously doesn’t want to be separated from her family or be in danger, and she most definitely wants to stay a free woman in order to somehow get rid of Cyrus and keep her family safe.
But just how far is Jordan willing to go in order to squash Mac’s investigation into TJ’s kidnapping. Mac just won’t let it go, so it seems like Jordan is going to have to do something as Mac keeps getting closer to the truth.
Right now, Mac has gotten a lot of crucial information from TJ himself, and he’s not going to give the matter up.
Jordan might be forced into a situation in which she’s got to tamper with more evidence in order to slow down or totally squash Mac’s investigation. It could be a situation in which Mac uncovers some crucial evidence, only to have that evidence go missing from the evidence room thanks to Jordan. Or perhaps Jordan will sabotage some lead that Mac gets.
Of course, Jordan doesn’t want to obfuscate evidence or mess with Mac’s investigation, but she really won’t have a choice. Jordan wants to be an upstanding cop, but Cyrus has her where he wants her at this point, and she’ll have to protect him in order to protect herself.
Whatever happens, Jordan is going to have to make sure that Mac doesn’t solve the case of TJ’s kidnapping. But how far do you think Jordan will go to make sure that TJ’s case stays unsolved?
