General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) may do some quick wedding planning. Right now, Maxie and Peter are thrilled about their upcoming wedding, and chances are, they’ll want the wedding to happen sooner rather than later.
After all, Maxie and Peter have a baby on the way, and they’ll probably want to tie the knot before the baby is born.
Well, a quick wedding may be a happy occasion for Maxie and Peter, but there will be some people who won’t want that wedding to happen at all.
It’s no big secret that Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) doesn’t want Maxie anywhere near the likes of Peter, and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) certainly doesn’t want these nuptials to take place.
Unfortunately for Robert and Spinelli, nobody’s really listening to all their blustering about Peter.
But now Dante Falconeri (Dominick Zamprogna) is on the scene to investigate Peter, and he’s not going to let up on the matter, especially since Dr. Kirk (Christopher Cousins) will soon be on the scene to make sure that Dante completes his mission to prove that Peter is a bad guy.
Well, given that there’s a wedding coming up, we have to imagine that the situation with Peter might reach a head right at the time of the wedding – or even AT the wedding!
It would be a very soapy situation if Peter were to be publicly outed at the wedding, perhaps at the moment when the officiant asks if there’s anyone who objects to this wedding!
Of course, if Robert or Spinelli were to be the one to object to the nuptials, then it probably wouldn’t be a good scene, and Maxie probably wouldn’t believe anything ether of them had to say.
But what if it’s Dante himself who bursts in with the proof that he needs to bust Peter for the crimes that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) went down for?
Dante would have inherent credibility with Maxie, especially since Dante probably wouldn’t interrupt the wedding without some cold, hard proof. It would certainly make for a dramatic turn of events if Peter is “outed’ for his crimes while standing at the altar.
Of course, if Dante does have proof that Peter committed even one of the crimes he perpetrated, then Peter could even be arrested on the spot.
That would be quite the turn of events – to have Peter hauled off in handcuffs from his own wedding while a pregnant Maxie watches in utter disbelief. It would utterly destroy Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) as well, as she’d be forced to face the fact that she helped her guilty son cover up his crimes.
We’ll see what happens here, but we suspect that there’s a good chance that Peter and Maxie’s nuptials will come to a screeching halt. Do you think that Peter will be exposed at the wedding?
