General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, January 13, teases that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) will run into Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). He’ll suggest that he owes Jason his life and offer an explanation for his gratitude.
Soon after, Franco and Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst) will extend a dinner invitation to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). They’ll gush about Peter playing the hero at GH and stopping the gunman from carrying out deadly orders.
What Liz and Franco don’t realize is Peter delivered those deadly orders. Since Peter knows he almost cost Franco his life before saving it, he won’t be down for serving as the guest of honor.
Peter will get rattled and quickly reject this dinner idea. He’ll thank Franco and Liz for thinking of him, but he just won’t be interested in them causing a fuss.
Jason will watch and listen to this encounter, which will raise his suspicions even more. He’ll feel confident Peter was behind all that drama before Franco’s procedure.
Proving it is going to be a tricky task, but Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) can help with that. He’ll be back in Port Charles on Monday, so he’ll undoubtedly meet up with Jason and strategize at some point.
However, Spinelli will also catch up with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). He’ll be taken aback when he discovers Maxie might be leaving Crimson. Maxie won’t be ready to commit to going elsewhere just yet, but she’ll likely admit she’s feeling restless and wasted.
Working for Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) just isn’t fulfilling Maxie the way that it should. It sounds like some big changes are on the horizon in Maxie’s life.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will have a dreamy night with her main squeeze. She’ll flirt with Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) during their evening together before suggesting they should head back to his place.
Lulu will be eager to keep the fun going in bed, but a snag may strike and prevent that plan.
GH fans can expect Dustin’s complicated history to come into play. Someone from his past will resurface – and this person will ultimately rile Lulu up. If Dustin was involved with Brook Lynn Ashton (Amanda Setton) once upon a time, that would certainly fit the bill.
No matter who reenters the picture for Dustin, Lulu’s bound to feel threatened.
Meanwhile, Brook Lynn will give Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) some good news. She’ll explain that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is alive and well, but Tracy won’t get why she’s supposed to care. Brook Lynn will point out that she thought Tracy would want to tell Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary).
Nevertheless, Tracy will assume Lulu’s already handled that. Brook Lynn will end up snapping a bit, so Tracy will wonder what the attitude’s about. General Hospital spoilers say Brook Lynn will admit she’s emotional over Nik reaching out.
Between the fact that Nik’s alive and the fact that he cared how she was doing, Brook Lynn will be pretty touched.
Next, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will arrive. They’ll talk to Tracy about the shareholder meeting, and she’ll remind them that she’ll be serving as Dillon Quartermaine’s (Robert Palmer Watkins) proxy.
They’ll need to vote on what to do with Oscar Nero Quartermaine’s (Garren Stitt) ELQ shares soon enough.
Brook Lynn will interrupt the gang eventually with a surprise announcement. At one point on Monday, Tracy jokes about Brook Lynn being in the wrong family if she expects any of them to worry about her feelings. Brook Lynn almost spills her news based on that “wrong family” comment, but she gets delayed.
Could the surprise announcement be that Brook Lynn’s changing her last name from Ashton to Quartermaine? Ned did it, so Brook Lynn might as well. Many GH viewers have been wondering if and when it would happen, so that’s an option here.
Later, Tracy will bicker with Michael about his lack of focus. She won’t get what could be more important than the future of ELQ. If Michael bails on the shareholder meeting to deal with a “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) situation, Tracy will surely disapprove.
Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will get the scoop from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Sam will tell Alexis about the deal with Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and how they need some hard evidence. Jason just has to bring enough proof for Peter’s downfall and his family can hopefully be reunited.
