General Hospital Spoilers: Monday, November 16 Recap – Cyrus Tries To Kill Sasha – Carly Urges Jax To Lie to Nina – BLQ Pregnancy Test

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Monday, November 16, reveals that Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) rushed into Cyrus Renault’s (Jeff Kober) place as Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) was in obvious distress on the floor.

“I will not have this tied to me – Get rid of her!” Cyrus barked to Brando. Brando picked Sasha up and carried her out.

At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) office, Sonny and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) discussed the problems of taking Cyrus out, most notably that his organization would just replace him. “We have to shut Cyrus down,” Sonny said. Just then, Sonny got a call from Brando saying that they had a situation.

Over at the Quartermaine mansion, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) shared a nice conversation in the living room during which Brook Lynn said that she needed to go away for a while.

Ned understood, although he would have preferred for Brook Lynn to stick around Port Charles.

Out in the foyer, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) chased Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) downstairs, followed by Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen). Chase lied and said that he had just stopped by to tell Willow that his brother was going to be ok.

Chase gazed at Willow and left. Michael then got a phone call from Jason saying that Sasha was in the ER. Michael rushed off.

At the hospital, Lucas Jones (CJ Thomason) and Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) were talking with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) when Julian Jerome (William deVry) rushed up and wondered what was going on.

As it turned out, Leo Falconeri (Aaron Bradshaw) was in an accident, but he was fine. Lucas and Sam were not at all happy to see Julian, and Lucas blasted his father for marrying Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

Just then, Sasha was wheeled in on a gurney and Lucas tended to her. Brando said that he thought that Sasha took cocaine but that he wasn’t sure. Soon, Michael rushed into the waiting area, and Lucas told him that Sasha overdosed.

Michael was horrified, and Lucas explained that the quantity that Sasha took wasn’t the problem; it was the properties of the drug.

In Sasha’s cubicle, Cyrus ambled in asking the nurse how the patient was doing. Elsewhere, in a hallway, Julian and Sam kept arguing, and Olivia approached them and intervened, explaining for Julian exactly why he wasn’t good for any of the kids in the family.

Meanwhile, Sonny and Brando texted each other as they were keeping their distance in the waiting area.

Sonny texted, “Were you there?” And Brando texted back, “No, I came in after. But for her to OD that fast? Would have to be a mountain of cocaine. Or it wasn’t cocaine.” Sonny showed Jason the text thread.

Over with Michael, Lucas said that Sasha obviously wasn’t a long-term drug user, and Michael thought that Sasha must have started using after they broke up. Michael wanted to see Sasha.

In Sasha’s cubicle, Cyrus told someone on the phone that he took their new product out for a test drive this evening and that they’d have to tweak the formula.

Then, to Sasha, Cyrus said, “I had such high hopes for you, but you’re more trouble than you are worth.” Cyrus reached to turn off Sasha’s machines, and just then Michael walked in and ripped Cyrus out of the cubicle.

“You gave her those drugs!” Michael yelled, and he threatened to expose Cyrus. Cyrus pointed a finger at Michael, and Sonny intervened, sending Michael into see Sasha. Cyrus demanded a public apology, and Sonny made some quip about Cyrus being trouble and trouble disappearing.

Cyrus and Brando took off, and Cyrus told Brando, “The next time I tell you to get rid of someone, it doesn’t mean bring them to the ER.”

At Charlie’s Pub, Chase was nursing a beer when Willow texted saying that they should talk. Soon, Willow showed up at the pub and Chase said that he was surprised to see Willow and Michael together since they were getting an annulment.

Willow got a call from Michael saying that Sasha was in the ER, and she and Chase rushed off together.

Back at the hospital, Chase and Willow arrived, and Michael told the about Sasha’s OD. “How did things get so out of control?” Michael wailed. Chase looked horrified. Elsewhere in the waiting area, Sonny asked Jason if he thought that Cyrus got the message. “Hope so,” Jason said.

Back at Charlie’s Pub, Cyrus met with Julian, saying that he had a job for Julian. And back at the Q mansion, Olivia told Ned that she ran into Julian at the hospital, and that he mentioned that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) was in a bad way.

Ned shared that Brook Lynn was moving back to New York to live with her mother for a while.

Over at the Corinthos house, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) gently quizzed Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) about where she got her half-heart pendant.

Avery explained about being at the cabin and finding the pendant out in the woods. Carly took the pendant saying she was going to fix the clasp for Avery.

At the Metro Court, Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) met with Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). Martin said that what Valentin was asking for with respect to Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) custody wouldn’t be easy.

At another table, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was discouraged and wanted to quit the search for her daughter.

Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) urged Nina to continue the search, then he got an urgent call from Carly and took off. Valentin walked up to Nina’s table and asked her if she’d take legal rights to Charlotte, and Nina loved the idea.

Nina then told Valentin about all the developments in her daughter search and she asked him if he thought she should continue her search. Valentin said he agreed with Jax on this one.

Valentin went to the bar, where Brook Lynn approached him to say goodbye. After a nice, cordial conversation, Valentin and Brook Lynn said goodbye, and that he hoped he saw her sooner rather than later.

Valentin walked off and Brook Lynn pulled a pregnancy test out of her bag. “I wouldn’t worry about that,” Brook Lynn said to herself.

Back at the Corinthos house, Jax arrived and quickly learned about the half-heart pendant that Avery had. “I think Nelle is Nina’s daughter,” Carly said. After hearing all the facts and getting an eyeful of the pendant, Jax thought that Carly was right. “How am I going to tell Nina?” Jax asked. “You’re not,” Carly said.

Carly insisted that some things were better left alone, and that there would be no comfort and no closure for Nina if she knew that Nelle was her daughter. Jax lamented that he just got done convincing Nina to continue her search. “Let her continue – you can run interference.” Carly said.

Jax looked ill at the thought of lying to Nina, but Carly said that Nelle was buried and that they should let the truth be buried with her.
