General Hospital Spoilers: Morgan Corinthos Home for the Holidays – Sonny’s Vision of Son Sets Up 2021 Return from the Dead?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Bryan Craig may be headed back to the ABC soap as Morgan Corinthos. At the beginning of September, Craig sent out a tweet about being available for work. He was hoping one of the four remaining daytime dramas would snatch him up, so did GH take the bait?

Craig later took the tweet down, so maybe General Hospital was indeed interested. Maurice Benard posted some set pics with Craig on his Instagram story recently, so that certainly generated some buzz.

Although Benard appeared to be sharing 2016 photos, perhaps it’s because Craig is back in 2020. It would explain why Benard’s feeling nostalgic and offering up a blast from the past.

In other words, there are some good reasons to think Craig might make a comeback. However, we’d say General Hospital has a lot going on with Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) return. Even if GH intends to revive Morgan from the dead down the road, a more temporary return might work best for now.

That way Dante’s arc could fully play out along with all the other hot plots that are going on. The show’s full of stories that need to wrap up or at least reach a new chapter before they start throwing in new stories entirely.

There just isn’t a ton of room for Morgan at the moment, so it might be best to give fans a little taste and set up a longer return later.

An easy way to do that would be including Morgan in a fantasy episode. Sonny could easily imagine an alternate reality where Morgan survived. GH writers might do something like they did when Sonny imagined what would’ve happened if he hadn’t gone down the mob path.

Then again, General Hospital could just focus on little vignettes like they did as Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) death loomed. Sonny might fantasize about having all his family under one roof at Thanksgiving or Christmas.

We could even see what Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) might imagine, too.

That’d be a great way to bring Morgan home for the holidays, even if it was just in vision form. It could also plant the seed for Morgan’s lengthier return in the flesh. Just when GH needs another shakeup in 2021, Morgan could come along and take care of that.

We’ll provide updates as other GH news pops up. General Hospital spoilers say some curveballs are coming this holiday season, so maybe Morgan will make a brief return followed by a longer one next year.
