General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will hold out hope that she can pull off a victory in court. Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight) has been working hard to make sure that happens, but it’s been an uphill battle. Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) has been working just as hard to make sure Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) keeps Nelle as far away from their son as possible.
However, Nelle could easily walk away with full or joint custody. Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will be a crucial factor in this case, so she could help Nelle win in court.
If Nina expresses support for Nelle on the stand, it could convince the judge to swing things in Nelle’s favor. Joint custody might be the most likely outcome under the circumstances.
Of course, that arrangement would mean a lot more contact and conflict with Nelle. Michael and Nelle fight anytime they’re in the same room, so this could lead to big trouble. That’s especially true now that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) is Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) stepmom.
The more Willow bonds with Wiley and acts as a mother to him, the more furious Nelle will be. What happens when Wiley starts calling Willow “Mommy” and inevitably prefers her over Nelle?
Willow has natural maternal instincts and has already formed a bond with Wiley. It’ll be tough for Nelle to compete with that, so she’s bound to feel threatened.
Once Nelle learns she’s Nina’s biological daughter, that could strengthen their connection. Nina will want to give Nelle the advice she needs and help her prove herself. Since Nina has natural maternal instincts as well, you can bet she’ll try to help Nelle as best as she can.
Nevertheless, Nelle should battle jealousy over Willow taking away the main Mommy spot in Wiley’s life. Could Willow be in danger as this GH feud escalates?
When Nelle wanted to go on the run with Wiley, she knocked Willow out cold. It’s clear that Nelle’s capable of anything, including violent showdowns. Willow may need to watch her back as this General Hospital plot heats up!
