General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, May 4, teases that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will call Franco Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and get some crucial confirmation. Ava will explain that she’s already sent out the invitations for her big party at Wyndemere, so she’s counting on Franco to be done with her portrait in time.
After Franco reassures Ava, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) will come storming in looking for his wife. Ava will call Nik “darling” and wonder what’s up. General Hospital spoilers say Nikolas will reveal that Spencer Cassadine (Nicolas Bechtel) sent him a letter, which contains a shocking demand. Spencer will only be willing to let Nikolas back in his life if he divorces Ava.
Ava will assume that Nikolas will want to grant his son’s wish. She’ll be all for it, but not if it means giving up the Cassadine fortune and Wyndemere! Ava will push Nikolas to divorce her and let her have everything, but he won’t be willing to do that. They’ll have a heated confrontation, but it won’t solve anything.
In the end, Nik will decide to hang in there. He’ll hope he can keep his fortune and earn Spencer’s love again. At GH, Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will visit Franco in his art room, where he’ll be mulling over all their bills. Franco will fret over Cameron Webber’s (William Lipton) college fund before Liz opens the invitation Ava sent out.
Liz will smile over how swanky it sounds and wonder what the occasion is. She’ll look horrified by what she discovers next, so there’ll most likely be a reference to Franco’s dark past on the invite.
Franco will worry that he’ll never be able to escape it, but Liz will comfort her husband and insist he’s more than his history. The people who love Franco know that – and they’re the ones who count!
Other General Hospital spoilers say Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) will prepare for an uncertain future. She lied at Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) hearing, so the New York Bar Association wants to hear all about her perjury. Alexis will discuss the matter over the phone with someone and hope she can continue to practice law.
Meanwhile, Neil will take matters into his own hands when he shows up at Charlie’s Pub. After Neil grabs Julian Jerome (William deVry) and starts hurling nasty names, Julian will insult him right back.
They’ll have a fierce showdown, but Julian won’t be sorry Neil lost his medical license. He’ll only be sorry Alexis got mixed up with the doc and landed in her current jam.
Over with Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos), she’ll get rather annoyed. General Hospital spoilers say Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) will try to nudge Molly toward a confession, so that may be why. Molly might suggest she can’t think straight when she’s got one sister telling her to stay quiet and another telling her to come clean.
Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) feels like it’d be best to just leave this alone and let TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) live in blissful ignorance. Sam may not think Molly can live with this secret, but the truth is only Molly can make this choice. That is, of course, unless the secret spills another way!
Across town, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) will tell Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) that despite getting the all clear to head back to Chicago, he’s decided to stay in Port Charles.
Jason has some trust issues when it comes to Brando, so he won’t be thrilled about this news. There’s also been some tension between Brando and Sam lately, so that may become a topic of conversation on Monday.
Brando will put the blame on Sam, so he might point out that Sam’s the one who barged in looking for a fight. General Hospital spoilers say Brando will reiterate that he’s not trying to cause problems.
Brando’s perfectly content to work in the garage and build a quiet life for himself. Even so, Jason will feel like Brando’s hiding things that could prove problematic later.
