General Hospital Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Maxie's Pregnancy – Custody Fallout, Selling Out, and Unexpected Betrayals

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some great stuff’s coming up as GH returns with new episodes. During the week of August 3-7, there’ll be major conflict going on. For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will lash out at Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) over his ELQ takeover plans.

Although Valentin will encourage Brook Lynn to keep her mouth shut, she’ll soon barge in on Ned Quartemaine’s (Wally Kurth) argument with Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero). Ned will be riled up about the threat of a hostile takeover – the very thing Brook Lynn will have information on.

We’ll see if Brook Lynn goes through with blabbing, but let’s get back to Valentin for a moment. General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will have to do some strategizing and figure a fast plan of attack. Valentin will end up visiting Sam McCall (Lindsay Hartley, Kelly Monaco) to fill her in on a proposition, which most likely involves her kids’ ELQ shares.

If Sam can ensure Valentin gets control of those shares, Valentin may promise some big benefits. GH spoilers have been pointing to an opportunity that could help Sam kill two birds with one stone – the birds being her parole dilemma and the threat of Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Maybe Valentin could be the surprising ticket to freedom.

As for Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), he’ll listen as Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) confides her troubles. This Cyrus situation will really take a toll – and things are only going to get worse. General Hospital spoilers say Cyrus will find a new tactic to manipulate Jordan, so that’ll stress her out even more than before.

Across town, Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) will be shocked and combative following Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) testimony. Although Nina will start off on a positive note, Diane Miller (Carolyn Henessy) may make sure Nina ends on a negative one.

Regardless, Nelle will be ready for some fierce fights soon – and one of them may be with Nina.

Later, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will connect, but Nelle will get nasty as usual. There’ll be another big showdown as Nelle insists on seeing Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).

Over with Cyrus, he’ll face Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) questions about why he’s so invested in the hospital. Laura will worry about what Cyrus is cooking up next!

Speaking of cooking things up with Cyrus, is that what Brando will be doing? It’s possible since a secret meeting between the pair’s coming up. Cyrus will want to speak with Brando, so this can’t be good news.

It’s possible Brando’s been working for Cyrus without Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) knowledge. Sonny will talk to Brando later, so we’ll see if Sonny suspects anything.

There’ll also be some deep sadness for Sonny in the week ahead. His emotions will pour out as Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) finds him. This is probably linked to Mike Corbin (Max Gail), who’s fading fast at Turning Woods.

Sonny will have to look within and figure out what’s best as far as Mike’s end-of-life care. He’ll deal with some guilt eventually, so he may struggle over telling Mike it’s OK to stop fighting.

At Deception, it’ll be decision time! Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) will make a big one, so that may affect Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) future. Over with Peter August (Wes Ramsey), he’ll take some heat before Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) intervenes as his defender.

There’ll be some second thoughts for mom-to-be Maxie as well, so Peter may not get the baby shocker just yet. Maxie should confirm her pregnancy soon, but she might decide to wait when it comes to telling Daddy Peter.

During the week of August 10-14, Sasha will most likely take another drug vial. GH has set up the strong possibility of a drug addiction, so they’ll have to take the next step toward getting Sasha hooked. As for Sam, she should make a choice about Valentin’s offer. If that offer’s tempting enough, Sam just might go for it!

There should also be some huge Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) developments since we know his return is imminent. As for Nelle and Nina, the tension between them will almost certainly rev up.

General Hospital will want to play up the feud angle since Nelle is Nina’s biological daughter. Will Nina and Nelle face the matching half-heart pendant bombshell soon?

Finally, troublemaker Cyrus may have some trouble headed his way, too. Cyrus shouldn’t underestimate Sonny, who’ll be determined to take his enemy out of the picture. General Hospital spoilers say some exciting scenes are in the works, so we’ll provide updates as other GH details come in.
