General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Valentin Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will get a huge wakeup call when it comes to his devious daughter. After all the snake drama explodes, Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) will get a lecture from her papa. However, Valentin will be quite disturbed by Charlotte’s attitude over the situation.
It’ll become clear to Valentin that Charlotte’s behavior is his fault. Valentin will see that he’s indeed been a bad influence like Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) have been claiming.
General Hospital spoilers say Valentin will do some reflecting and determine that maybe he shouldn’t fight Lulu on this custody issue after all. Valentin will try to focus on putting Charlotte first.
Of course, this is interesting since Valentin has also changed his tune regarding Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier). Valentin now seems appalled over the way Nelle’s using Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson).
We’re seeing a shift in Valentin’s perspective, which could lead to a shift in Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) perspective, too.
Nina recently argued with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) about Nelle and her capacity to love. Jax doesn’t think someone like Nelle can truly care for Wiley, but Nina talked about maternal instincts and suggested the possibility of Nelle being able to change.
Will Valentin’s decision regarding Charlotte further complicate things for Nina? She might determine that if Nelle really wanted to do what’s best for Wiley, she’d prove it by letting Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) have full custody. Nina may stick to her original plan of getting on the stand and going against Nelle at the hearing.
General Hospital spoilers say Nelle will bond with Nina in the episodes leading up to all this. That could make it even more of a blow if Nina ultimately betrays Nelle. Naturally, it would also put this daughter at war with her mother – even if Nelle doesn’t know Nina’s her mother yet.
It’s easy to imagine Nelle wearing that half-heart pendant as a good luck charm in court. After Nina’s potential betrayal, fans would expect an explosive showdown. Is that when Nina will get a closer look and see the familiar other half of her necklace? That would certainly be a dramatic route for GH to take.
