General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, February 13, teases that Ava Jerome (Maura West) will continue her chat with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros). They’ve been discussing Nina’s kiss with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) – and the potential of another one. Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) appeared just in time to catch the part about the lip lock, so he’ll be boiling mad on Thursday.
Whether Valentin makes his presence known or not, Ava will assume he’ll unleash his fury on Jax. In fact, Ava will tell Nina Valentin’s going to kill him! She won’t mean literally, but Valentin could indeed take deadly action in Thursday’s GH episode – even if it’s only in his own mind.
Before we get to that, we should talk about Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan). They’ll take a big step of some sort, so Lulu will be buzzing about it when she talks to Peter August (Wes Ramsey). As for Dustin, he’ll talk about a date he has with someone other than Lulu.
Of course, it doesn’t look like Dustin will mean a date-date. It appears it’ll be more like a business meeting since he’ll show up in Jax’s office. Dustin is technically the official driver for Aurora Media’s print division. He scored that title when he served as an extra man during the softball game. Since Dustin had to be employed by Aurora to play, Jax hired him on the spot.
That may have been in name only since we haven’t really heard anything since then, but Dustin might have a pitch to make on Thursday. He could want some legitimate work. Whatever the case, Dustin will be with Jax when Valentin arrives for a showdown.
Valentin will approach Jax and pull a gun on him, which will lead to a fired shot according to recent General Hospital promos. Will Valentin pull the trigger in his imagination or will this actually play out? It’s strange for Dustin to get mixed up in all this, so he may be in hero mode again if it’s real. If Valentin misses Jax, Dustin might dive for the gun and stop another shot.
There’s also a chance Dustin could get shot by mistake. GH must have some reason for including him here, so it’ll be interesting to see what that reason is. Naturally, we have to consider the possibility that this whole thing is a fake-out fantasy. General Hospital certainly does those sometimes, so just keep that in mind.
Meanwhile, Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) will hit the roof over Brad Cooper’s (Parry Shen) gaffe. He’ll admit he told Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) the truth about “Wiley Cooper-Jones” (Erik and Theo Olson) before the accident, so Nelle will be livid. She’ll feel like Brad betrayed her and created an unnecessary risk, but she’ll at least be glad Lucas can’t recall anything.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) will be his usual doting self. He’ll notice that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) seems off, so Chase will offer a shoulder to cry on if need be. Willow may be feeling a little blue over “Wiley” and her temporary role as his nanny. She intends to cherish every moment she gets with the kid, but she knows she can never serve as “Wiley’s” real mom.
Willow believes she’s “Wiley’s” biological mother, but she doesn’t know this isn’t the Wiley she gave birth to. That one died the night he came home from the hospital, so Willow’s in for another tough blow before long. Until then, Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) will march over to someone at GH and angrily ask if she can help him or her. She won’t be pleased by whatever scene’s unfolding.
This might tie in with Sam McCall’s (Kelly Monaco) current dilemma. Delores the parole officer cornered Sam to pass along some news. It turns out there’s a problem. There’s even an issue Delores doesn’t know about since Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) is still at GH, too. If Jason saunters out while Delores is still talking to Sam, trouble could hit fast.
Epiphany’s loud mouth might come in handy if it keeps Delores’ attention for a bit. Jason just needs a chance to slip out before Delores catches him. Regardless, Sam will have a plan of some sort on Thursday. General Hospital spoilers say Sam will come up with an idea and cross her fingers on staying out of Pentonville! Finally, all the Peter drama will bring a full-blown tension explosion. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) refuses to see Peter for who he really is or let him face any kind of consequences. Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) just won’t be able to take it anymore, so he’ll lose his temper and rant about Peter’s guilt. Finn will think Anna needs to accept that Peter is a serious threat, not a boy scout.
