General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, October 1 Recap - Josslyn & Cameron Kiss - Ryan Calls Ava - Sam Quizzes Julian About Cyrus

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 1, reveal that Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West) was at Wyndemere when she got a call from Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) wanting updates on the situation between Ava and Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma).

Suddenly, Nikolas walked in the room, and soon he was bellowing at Ava for spending too much on bedding and sheets.

Soon, Ava and Nikolas were discussing what had happened at the cabin, and they quizzed each other about whether they regretted making love. Ava said that Nina thought she was crazy for what they did, and Nikolas smiled, obviously amused that Ava was talking about their tryst with her friends.

Ava fired back that there were two of them involved, and she didn’t remember Nikolas doing any objecting that night.

At Jasper “Jax” Jacks’ (Ingo Rademacher) house, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) and Dev Corbin (Ashton Arbab) arrived at the door, and while Dev went inside, Brando took a call from Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), who told Brando that the men who attacked him were arrested.

Brando couldn’t believe that Cyrus had his own men arrested, and Cyrus said that it was a gesture of amends, and that he was having a new car lift delivered to Brando’s shop.

Cyrus went on, saying that he wanted Brando to be part of his team. Brando didn’t say anything, and Cyrus said that Brando didn’t have to answer now, but that they’d talk soon.

Brando hung up and went inside, where Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst), and Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) were talking.

Dev and Cameron Webber (William Lipton) watched as Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) made their big entrances all dressed up. Dev and Cameron both looked longingly in the girls’ direction.

Jax and Carly found a moment together, during which they discussed how Carly had told Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about what really happened to Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

Portia and Elizabeth walked up and learned about Nelle’s death, and then Nina and Josslyn walked up and the conversation about Nelle ended.

Trina and Cameron spoke briefly, and Cameron wondered how Trina was doing given what happened at the last dance. Trina said that it was hard, but that the only thing she needed to feel safe was Cameron.

Meanwhile Dev told Josslyn that she looked gorgeous in his native language, then later Brando gave Dev a little pep talk about Josslyn.

Soon, it was time for the teens to leave for the dance, and viewers saw a montage of Dev, Josslyn, Cameron, and Trina posing for pictures.

Portia and Elizabeth went to the dance as chaperones, and they discussed the situation with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) cutting Elizabeth’s hours as the teens boarded the Haunted Star.

Once aboard the Haunted Star, Dev and Josslyn talked, and Dev once again called Josslyn gorgeous, and Dev tried to broach the topic of his feelings for Josslyn, but Josslyn quickly caught on and she made an excuse to rush off quickly. Dev looked devastated.

Elsewhere, Cameron noticed that Trina wasn’t having a good time, and Trina told him that coming to homecoming was a big mistake. Trina rushed off for a moment alone.

When Trina didn’t come back, Cameron went looking for her but found Josslyn instead. Josslyn and Cameron talked, and Josslyn complained about always feeling like she was letting people down.

Cameron said that Josslyn was amazing the way she was, and that he was glad that she was in his life. Josslyn returned the sentiment, and then Josslyn and Cameron kissed. Meanwhile, Trina found Dev and said that she was leaving, but that she needed to go find Cameron first.

Back at Jax’s house, Brando and Carly chatted, while Jax found Nina on the terrace crying and wondering if her son or daughter ever had a night like this.

Nina eventually ended up inside talking with Carly, and she recounted the whole story of Phyllis Caufield and how Phyllis was the one who got the pendants separated. Jax came along and Carly encouraged Nina in her search for her child, saying that Nina deserved to be a mother.

At Charlie’s Pub, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) followed Jason as he watched Cyrus, who was inside the pub. Jason quickly realized that Sam was following him, and Jason revealed that Cyrus had been in the pub for a long time talking with Julian Jerome (William deVry).

Inside the pub, Julian re-read Nelle’s letter saying that she gave the real letter incriminating him to someone else. Cyrus approached Julian, and he offered his help if Julian needed it regarding any of Nelle’s crimes.

Suddenly, Sam burst in saying that she needed to talk privately to Julian. Cyrus and Jason walked off and Cyrus needled Jason about Mike Corbin’s (Max Gail) passing.

Sam asked Julian what was going on between him and Cyrus, and Julian said that Cyrus wanted to buy the pub, but that he had turned Cyrus down.

Sam thought it was odd that Cyrus was still there, but Julian dismissed Sam, saying that she should be focused on Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) since Neil Byrne (Joe Flanigan) just died of a drug overdose. Julian then walked off, leaving Sam miffed.

Sam approached Cyrus and Jason, and Cyrus needled Sam about Neil’s death and said to give Alexis his condolences. Sam got upset and told Cyrus that if he mentioned her mother again, they’d have a problem.

Cyrus ambled off, and Jason said that Cyrus seemed to be pushing the boundaries of his agreement with Sonny. Jason then called Sonny and said that there was a development regarding Cyrus.

Finally, back at Wyndemere, Nikolas and Ava were about to kiss when Julian arrived to talk with Ava. Ava shut Nikolas out of the living room, and Julian told Ava that he was in trouble and needed her help.

Julian explained that Nelle never gave her incriminating letter to Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) and that someone else has it. Ava then got an incoming collect call from Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom). Ava looked aghast as the operator asked if she would accept the charges.
