General Hospital Spoilers: Thursday, October 29 Recap - Helena Calls Peter - Julian Unmasks Taggert - Franco’s Oncology Consult

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Thursday, October 29 reveal that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) woke up in the hospital after having a nightmare. Cameron Webber (William Lipton) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) walked in, and in a moment alone, Cameron and Franco talked about how Cameron was now in the permanent “friend zone” with both Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla).

At the nurses’ station, Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr) called for a courier delivery for the test results that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) was waiting on. Ava arrived looking for Franco’s room, and Portia thanked Ava for urging Trina to try to rehabilitate her father’s reputation. “I wish I had thought of it myself,” Portia said.

Ava went into see Franco, and he pushed Ava to come clean about her scheme to push Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) and Elizabeth together. Ava admitted it, and she made Franco admit to blackmailing her and Nikolas as well.

Ava begged Franco for the proof that Nikolas had cheated, but Franco flatly refused, saying that Ava and Nikolas deserved each other.

At Anna’s house, Anna, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), Peter August (Wes Ramsey), and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) celebrated Maxie’s birthday together, and Finn even asked Peter to be a groomsman for his wedding to Anna.

Peter and Maxie took off go to dinner, and Finn had an emergency at the hospital, so Anna was left alone with Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) to deal with the trick-or-treaters.

At the Metro Court, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) was leaving a message for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) when Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) walked in and wanted a table for two.

Sasha walked in as Cyrus’ dinner companion and Carly reeled. Elsewhere, Damain Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) asked for advice from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) about the Peter situation without naming names.

Sonny informed Spinelli that he should just give Maxie his honest support, and that just because he couldn’t do something didn’t mean that someone else couldn’t. After their talk, Spinelli bumped into Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and muttered something about Peter, which got Valentin concerned.

A short time later, Spinelli joined Maxie and Peter at their table, and he went on a little too much about how he wanted to teach them both how to play Dungeons & Dragons…as a family adventure.

Maxie accepted, and she stepped away from the table, leaving Spinelli and Peter to talk. Peter hoped that Spinelli’s about-face was on the level. Suddenly Peter’s phone rang, and a woman’s voice greeted him. It was Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).

Over at the table with Sasha and Cyrus, Cyrus did his best to ingratiate himself into Sasha’s life, promising to be her friend and confidante. Cyrus said that Sasha had really opened up to him about her problems the night before, and that she seemed like a friend worth having.

Cyrus went on about how their friendship could be mutually beneficial.

At the bar, Sonny joined Carly, where he learned about Sasha and Cyrus. Carly confided that she thought Sasha was using drugs, and Sonny noted that Sasha was now sitting having conversation with a known drug trafficker. Sonny suggested that they wait to find out what Cyrus wants with Sasha before they take any action.

Back with Cyrus and Sasha, Cyrus noted that Sasha had probably heard gossip about him from Sonny and Carly. Sasha seemed skittish and wanted to go. Cyrus said that Sasha had his number and that if she needed someone to talk just call him.

Sasha hit the elevator, and some guy came up and handed Sasha a little envelope, saying that she dropped it. Sasha said that she didn’t drop the envelope, but the guy insisted. Sasha looked in the envelope to find a packet of drugs.

Back at Anna’s place, Valentin arrived to tell Anna that Peter had a Spinelli problem. Anna wasn’t too worried, but Valentin noted that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) could definitely become a problem.

The doorbell rang, and Anna got the test results via courier. Valentin encouraged Anna to open the results, but Anna hesitated.

At Charlie’s Pub, Julian Jerome (William deVry) talked with Nikolas, who had put together all the pieces of the puzzle and figured out that Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) must have something on Julian.

Julian played dumb, and Nikolas offered to set Julian up with a new identity somewhere. Julian refused, saying he’d do things his way.

Soon, Trina and Josslyn arrived at the pub, while somebody in a Darth Vadar costume lurked outside watching them. Dev Corbin aka Dev Cerci (Ashton Arbab) and Cameron arrived, and Josslyn and Cameron started bickering over whether Cameron had commitment issues.

Cameron seemed exasperated by Josslyn’s attitude. Darth Vadar watched everything.

Soon, Trina wanted a picture with Darth Vadar, which she got, and she left with Josslyn, Cameron, and Dev. Trina left her phone behind, and Darth Vadar picked it up.

Outside, Ava talked with Julian, who shared that Nikolas basically had the whole Ryan situation figured out. Ava realized that she could use Nikolas’ forged divorce papers to fool Ryan, and she ran off.

Julian went back into the bar just in time to see Darth Vadar swipe Trina’s phone. Julian took the phone away from Darth Vadar and threatened to call the cops. Darth Vadar said that Julian didn’t need to call the cops and that he hadn’t done anything wrong.

Julian and Darth Vadar tussled, and Julian pulled off the mask, revealing Darth Vadar to be Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews).

Back at the hospital, Nikolas found Elizabeth wanting honest advice about Ava. Elizabeth felt guilty and revealed that she and Franco had played Nikolas and Ava. Nikolas looked stunned.

Elsewhere, Portia looked at Franco’s CT scan and called Terry Richardson (Cassandra James) for an oncology consult. Finally, Ava went to Pentonville and waited for Ryan in the visiting area.
