General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that TJ Ashford (Tajh Bellow) will ultimately face a devastating blow. If Molly Lansing-Davis (Haley Pullos) had been honest after TJ’s kidnappers freed him, she wouldn’t be in this mess. TJ would’ve been hurt over Molly jumping into bed with someone else so fast, but he probably would’ve understood – at least after the initial shock and anger wore off.
The fact that Molly’s keeping her hookup a secret makes this so much worse. On top of that, there’s a good chance the truth won’t even come from Molly.
Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Lexi Ainsworth) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are all in the loop on Molly’s one-night stand. As the other half of this one-night stand, Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) could easily spill, too.
Just because Molly and Brando intend to keep this hookup under wraps doesn’t mean they can. Eavesdropping is pretty much every soap character’s favorite pastime, so that always brings risks. Regardless, TJ’s bound to find out one way or another.
When the truth hits, you can bet it’s going to hit hard. TJ will surely be upset about Molly piling on the lies and telling her family before him. Since Molly’s had so many opportunities to come clean, TJ may feel like their trust is truly shattered. It’s easy to imagine TJ backing out of their domestic partnership after this shocker.
Of course, TJ could also find himself in bed with someone else in the aftermath. One hot hookup deserves another, right? At least on a soap! GH writers gave Molly a random one-night stand when she slept with Brando, so who’d be a good option for TJ? We can think of one lovely lady that might bring some excellent drama.
Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) recently decided to throw her hat in the ring for Head of Internal Medicine, so that should bring extra opportunities to interact with the medical staff. TJ works at GH, so maybe he could hit it off with Portia – first as friends, then as more.
Since Portia and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) have a history, that’d make things awkward and complicated – just like when Brando hooked up with Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) niece.
Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) would certainly disapprove if her son got busy with Portia, so there’s another chance for conflict. Curtis would be stuck in the middle of any potential feud that erupts.
Plus, it’s fun when an older woman is interested in a younger man. Soaps often take the older man and younger woman route, so General Hospital would be switching it up a bit. It wouldn’t have to be a lasting love story; it could just be TJ’s payback for Molly’s cheating! TJ might let his anger fuel some passion once the truth explodes.
