General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, December 29, tease that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will bump into Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and get stuck in a situation that’s a bit awkward. Both Chase and Willow will be part of a charity event, which will lead to them doing something daring in their bathing suits!
It looks like it’ll be some type of polar plunge where Willow and Chase jump into the frigid swimming pool together. Of course, that’ll involve some hand holding and eventually some shared laughs.
This will definitely be an opportunity for Chase and Willow to grow closer again, but Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) should remain in the back of Willow’s mind.
In the meantime, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) will assure Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that some truths are better left unsaid. Finn will probably be talking about the secret he shares with Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney), which he recently divulged to Anna as well.
Although part of Finn would like to come clean, he may feel it’d only cause more pain if Gregory Chase (Gregory Harrison) knew his own son slept with Jackie.
That’s especially true since it happened the night before the wedding and means there’s a chance Finn is actually Chase’s father. Finn lied to Gregory for decades, so he has plenty of reasons to keep quiet and spare his dad.
Of course, Finn also thinks Anna doesn’t know one way or the other if Peter August (Wes Ramsey) is her son. The truth is Anna knows Peter belongs to Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) and is choosing to leave Finn out of the loop.
Nevertheless, Anna may fully agree that it’s best to let some truths stay buried – and that goes for leaving Finn in the dark, too.
Over with Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor), he’ll be concerned about the mob war. With Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) out of the picture, there’s the potential for even more trouble. “Are you planning to make a move on ‘em?”
Brando asks in Tuesday’s GH preview video. It seems Brando will want to find out exactly what Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has in store for Sonny’s operation.
Another portion of the preview clip shows Cyrus saying, “Your family hasn’t told you?” Perhaps Brando will play dumb about what he knows and let Cyrus be the one to break the news about Sonny in the first place. It’d be better for Cyrus to keep believing Brando is an outsider when it comes to the Corinthos clan.
However, Brando’s loyalty will be put to the test in Tuesday’s episode. Since Cyrus will indeed be plotting something, he’ll put Brando in the terrible position of carrying out dangerous orders or facing the consequences.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Jackie will catch up with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) at the Metro Court. Laura will offer updates on her new half-siblings, Cyrus and Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight). That should lead to a discussion about complicated families, which Jackie knows a thing or two about.
GH spoilers say Jackie will end up serving as inspiration for Laura somehow. This conversation will give Laura an idea – and it appears it’ll be one that leads to an intensifying brother battle between Cyrus and Martin.
Next, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will be brought up to speed on the bridge collapse and the possibility that Sonny didn’t make it. Since Cyrus is now free to run wild, Dante will push Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) to tell him what’s being done to protect this family.
Jason and Dante have a lot of loved ones in common here, so they’ll be on the same page about forming a strong defense against Cyrus.
As for Carly, she’ll be reunited with Sonny – but sadly, it seems it’ll only be in her own mind. General Hospital spoilers say Carly will apparently have a vivid dream about her husband returning to her. “I knew you’d come back! I always knew you’d come back!” Carly exclaims in Tuesday’s GH promo.
It looks like Carly will grip Sonny’s face, but he should vanish just as quickly as he appeared. Carly will inevitably wake up and realize she’s still stuck in a real nightmare – one where Sonny’s still missing.
Although Sonny will return home sooner or later, he’ll most likely deal with some memory loss that’ll serve as a huge hurdle to a real “CarSon” reunion.
