General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, March 3 Recap - Valentin Stops Julian's Attack - Obrecht Talks Faison With Peter

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 3, reveal that Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) and Violet Barnes (Jophielle Love) were in the park for Violet’s skating lesson. Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) approached, which thrilled Violet. Finn went off for hot chocolate, and Violet told Anna that she missed her. They hugged, which Finn spied nearby.

Finn returned and Violet went off for her skating lesson, while Finn and Anna talked about their relationship. Anna thought that they could work things out, but she was immediately worried when Finn revealed he had spoken to Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) about their separation. Anna worried that Finn might have told the police something about Peter August (Wes Ramsey), which miffed Finn.

Ultimately, Anna wanted to get back together, and Finn said he couldn’t take the same risk on Peter as she did. Violet returned from her staking lesson and wanted to go back to Anna’s house, but Finn said it was time to say goodbye. Violet sweetly asked if they could do this again, but Finn gave a definite non-answer, which Anna noticed.

Meanwhile, at the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) daydreamed in her bathroom about winning a big-time music award and thanking Julian Jerome (William deVry) for making it happen. In the foyer, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) demanded that someone on the other end of the phone keep working on the Quartermaine finances.

In the den, Brook Lynn and Ned met up, with Ned saying that her outfit wasn’t appropriate for ELQ, and she indicated that she had no intention of answering phones – she’s a creative person. They bickered about her need to get a job, and about her recording contract, which she said may no longer be a problem. He told her that whatever scheme she’s got cooked up, to forget it.

Ned and Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa Lo Cicero) then stepped out, and Brook Lynn felt guilty as she talked to Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) about Wiley Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson). She flashed back to blackmailing Julian over his misdeeds and quickly made an excuse to leave. Ned and Olivia returned, and Michael told Ned he needed to take a month-long leave from ELQ. Ned happily agreed to take his place temporarily.

After Michael left, Olivia called out Ned on his real plan, which is to remain CEO permanently. Ned said that because there was a hostile takeover attempt going on, the company needed more seasoned leadership. He said that when he sat down behind that CEO desk, he’d make it permanent.

Later, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) stopped by on Michael’s request. Michael wanted to talk about changing Wiley’s last name legally. He asked Diane whether she thought Wiley should be a Quartermaine or a Corinthos, and she suggested that he use both: “Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos.” She did warn that Nelle Benson Archer (Chloe Lanier) might have an opinion on the matter, which upset Michael.

Next, at the Metro Court, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) talked on the terrace. He noted that he was in much better shape the last time they found themselves on that terrace, which was when he discovered that he wasn’t a Cassadine. Alexis told him that he was better off without the Cassadine name or fortune, but he wasn’t having it. He said he’ll give neither up.

Inside, at a table, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter enjoyed coffee together. She told Peter that she declined a lunch date with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) because of the third-degree that he gives Peter. Peter confessed that others suspect him as well, including Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers), Finn, and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

Maxie wondered why Peter hadn’t told her any of this before, and he noted that he was afraid of what she might think. She reminded him that they needed to be totally honest with each other in order have a relationship. They kissed as Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) approached, back from her trip to Switzerland. Obrecht went on about how she found peace of mind on her trip and that her previous anger at Peter was misguided.

Maxie then took a call, and Peter and Obrecht talked a bit more, with Obrecht noting that they both have pasts that they are trying to live down. After some talk about the effect of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) in their lives, she offered to be a good listener if he ever feels like unburdening himself of his past deeds. He seemed skeptical.

Next, at the pier, Julian approached Linc Brown (Dan Buran), who was waiting to meet with Valentin. Julian put on some gloves threateningly while talking about how terrible it would be to fall in the icy water. Julian brought up Brook Lynn’s name, and told him that he was going to tear up the contract or else he’d throw him into the water. Julian threatened to damage his entire producing business as well.

Suddenly, Valentin showed up and wondered what was going on. Julian exited, and Linc told Valentin that he never signed up for this. Valentin was happy, since all of this meant that Brook Lynn was getting desperate to sell. He told Linc that Julian was bluffing, and if Brook Lynn was willing to go this far, then she’s desperate.

Later, Julian showed up at the Metro Court to see Brook Lynn. He told her that he’s gone as far as he’s willing to go, and that now she’s on her own. She threatened to tell Lucas Jones (Ryan Carnes) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) everything, but Julian called her bluff, noting that she didn’t have it in her to basically cause his death when Sonny found out the truth. Julian left.

Finally, Linc showed up to see Brook Lynn. As they sat at a table, Brook Lynn asked if he was going to tear up the contract, and he said he would. She told him in no uncertain terms that she wouldn’t sleep with him, and he said that’s not what he wanted. She asked what he wanted, then, and he handed her some papers, saying that he wanted her shares in ELQ.

That was a great episode of General Hospital, and there’s definitely some great drama coming up, so stay tuned! Keep on watching the ABC soap and don’t forget to check CDL often for the latest General Hospital recaps and news.
