General Hospital Spoilers: Tuesday, September 8 – Search For Nelle Is On – Dante’s Tough Decision – Julian Needs Martin’s Help

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Tuesday, September 8, tease that some exciting moments are on the way. We should note that an encore episode of GH will air on Labor Day, so you can expect a repeat on Monday, September 7. However, it won’t be long until the show picks right back up on Tuesday, so let’s look at what’s in store.

First, Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) will catch up with Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) at GH. Due to all the shakeups at the hospital, Lulu may initially suggest that she just wanted to check on Kevin. Since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) has a beef with Laura Collins (Genie Francis), Kevin could easily get the boot due to his link to her.

Whether that happens or not, Lulu will ultimately admit she’s got an ulterior motive. Perhaps Lulu will be sniffing around for a Cyrus scoop and think Kevin can help.

As for Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn), she’ll reel over what Jordan Ashford (Briana Nicole Henry) just divulged. The preliminary findings of Neil Byrne’s (Joe Flanigan) autopsy report show that he died of respiratory failure caused by drugs.

Alexis will struggle to process this as she asks the medical examiner if she really believes Neil died of an overdose. General Hospital spoilers say Alexis will get confirmation, but that news won’t make any sense to her.

Of course, we have to point out that drugs might point in Cyrus direction. Cyrus always manages to deal with his problems, so maybe Neil got his way somehow or knew too much.

Whatever the case, Alexis will have a hard time wrapping her head around this overdose bombshell. Speaking of bombshells, Peter August (Wes Ramsey) just faced one when Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) goaded him with info from Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier).

That left Peter seething, so he placed a call to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) to discuss his dealing with Nelle.

Peter admitted Nelle had been running her mouth and could blow up his life. Spinelli happily caught it all on the spy cam and smiled over his “gotcha.” Peter will worry about Nelle getting captured and running her mouth even more – just as Spinelli suggested she might.

Valentin might point out that Nelle’s probably long gone by now, but Peter will remain concerned.

This is interesting since if Nelle does show up alive down the road – and she inevitably will – there could be a target on her back. Then again, this conversation could be a setup for Valentin to figure out Nelle fell potentially to her death. Regardless, Peter will fret over the threat Nelle poses for now.

As for Julian Jerome (William deVry), he’ll be eager to end Nelle’s threat to him once and for all. During a chat with Valentin, Julian will bring up Nelle’s lawyer. The sooner Julian gets ahold of Martin Gray (Michael E. Knight), the happier he’ll be.

Julian may want to make sure that sealed envelope Nelle left behind gets destroyed. That’s the last remaining proof of Julian’s crimes.

Back with Spinelli, he’ll tell someone that he has “it” and add that it’s in Peter’s own words. Spinelli will undoubtedly be talking about the recording from the garage.

Although Spinelli will hope that’s enough to sink Peter, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may advise against celebrating too soon. Peter is a crafty character and will be doing everything he can to avoid his downfall.

“You’re the only person I can trust,” Peter says to somebody in Tuesday’s GH preview video. That should be Valentin, who might agree to see about finding Nelle – or at least making sure she’s not coming back.

In Brando Corbin’s (Johnny Wactor) room at GH, he’ll wonder if there was another reason behind Jason’s change of heart. Sam will also be on hand, so “JaSam” may explain the spy cam situation. Jason had to be sure, but he’s definitely convinced of Brando’s innocence now.

Finally, General Hospital spoilers say Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) will show up at Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) treatment facility in Geneva. Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) will finish pulling all the stings he can, but the rest will be up to Dante.

As Olivia waits to see her son, the doctor will agree to check with Dante and see if he’s willing to receive a visitor. Dante will listen on the other side of the door and look awfully pensive. General Hospital spoilers point to despair for Olivia on Tuesday, so Dante may turn his mom down initially.

Nevertheless, an emotional outburst might change Dante’s mind – and you can bet Olivia will indeed have an emotional outburst! We’ll pass along updates as other GH details emerge.

General Hospital spoilers say a gripping episode’s coming up, so stay tuned. CDL will have lots of other great General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to pop back in soon.
