General Hospital Spoilers Update: Monday, October 12 – Olivia Grills Ned About Alexis - Lulu Rejects Dante - Ava Derails Scott’s Plan

General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Monday, October 12, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will continue to give Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) an attitude. Carly will suggest she could put Gladys up in a room for the night, but Gladys will snap that a hotel room won’t buy her off.

She’ll rant about getting Brando Corbin (Johnny Wactor) a spot in Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) business – and not the coffee one.

Carly will contend that’s the only one Sonny has and point out that Sonny already gave Brando a garage. That’ll be “crumbs” as far as Gladys is concerned, but Carly will think this is less about what Brando deserves and more about what Gladys wants for herself.

Carly will finally urge Gladys to get in the car Sonny gave her and drive on back to Bridgeport because the ATM’s closed.

Meanwhile, Brando will blow his top when he faces some shocking allegations. As Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) stands there watching, Sonny will form a theory about some sort of betrayal. Brando will fire back about how it didn’t do it, so Cyrus should be pleased over this surprising development.

Of course, that should be exactly what Sonny and Brando want Cyrus to think. Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) seemed genuinely irritated with Brando in some private moments recently – moments where there was no show going on for Cyrus.

However, it seems like Gladys’ arrival brought the perfect opportunity to put the Brando plan in motion, so Sonny had to go for it.

There’s even a chance Sonny summoned Gladys himself since we know she’ll gladly do anything for the right price! Whatever the case, Gladys is pushing for Brando to be Sonny’s associate – and Sonny’s obviously going to nix that idea in front of Cyrus.

It’ll lead to Brando causing a major scene, so Cyrus should swoop in and insist there’s still a spot open in his own organization.

The goal is putting Brando to work for Cyrus without causing real suspicion, so hopefully this plan will work like a charm – at least for now. On the pier after this plan was pitched, Sonny warned Jason to keep an eye on Brando because he might cause problems.

We’d say this mission will come with some speedbumps that could ultimately leave Brando’s loyalty in question.

Other General Hospital spoilers say Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will land in a tight spot. Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) has made a real mess since Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) caught her drinking and knows Ned’s been helping her somehow.

On Monday’s GH episode, Olivia will grill Ned about this help he offered and wonder exactly what it entailed.

Ned may admit he served as Alexis’ confidant at The Floating Rib while Olivia was gone, so that’ll probably satisfy her curiosity for the time being. Ned will keep what happened at Alexis’ place under wraps, though he’ll learn it was a drunken romp on her end as well.

Alexis lied that she was sober, so Ned will probably feel bad for contributing to her struggles.

At GH, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will have a warning to pass along. She may feel like Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is going to die miserable and alone if he doesn’t start concentrating on love instead of power.

Britt will explain her vision of how things might turn out for Nikolas and wonder if that’s the story ending he has in mind.

Nikolas may ultimately realize happily ever after is within his grasp – or a least something like it. The truth is Nikolas and Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) marriage isn’t really a sham anymore. Ava and Nikolas have mutual feelings, so Nik may think it’s time to lay all their cards on the table.

Unfortunately, things are beyond complicated now since Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) expects Ava to divorce Nikolas ASAP. Ava will have to do it if she wants to keep Nelle Benson Jerome’s (Chloe Lanier) letter out of Sonny’s hands – and that’d definitely be for the best since Sonny could kill Julian Jerome (William deVry).

Julian will wonder what Ava’s plans are, but she’ll definitely be conflicted about cutting ties with Nikolas. The fortune is still part of it, but Ava’s main problem here is that she loves Nik.

Nevertheless, Ryan isn’t going to back down, so it looks like Ava will decide divorce is her only option. She won’t want to sentence Julian to death by riling Ryan up.

There’s another matter to take care of first though – and that’s Scott Baldwin’s (Kin Shiner) blackmail scheme. Ava will fill Julian in on how she’s supposed to close the deal today, but Scott won’t get a dime if Ava’s just going to divorce Nikolas anyway. Ava will have no motive to keep that kiss pic quiet.

Scott will likely bring Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) and Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) up to speed on some extortion roadblocks. Franco will brush all this off, but Liz will think this iis serious. She won’t understand why Franco isn’t worried since they could all get in trouble with the law.

Finally, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will fear he made a mistake in coming home. Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) won’t exactly give Dante a warm welcome back, but it’ll mostly be due to shock and the pain she faced over him leaving.

Lulu will have a hard time adjusting to the news that Dante’s in Port Charles again.

Dante will ask if Lulu wishes he hadn’t come back, but she may suggest it’s just a lot to process. General Hospital spoilers say Dante will have a lot to process himself once Dustin Phillips (Mark Lawson) appears. Dustin may pop up before this conversation’s over and let Lulu’s ex know he’s the new man in her life.

We’ll pass along updates as other GH details emerge. General Hospital spoilers say the excitement’s about to rev up in Port Charles, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for the hottest General Hospital spoilers, news and updates, so drop by regularly.
