General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 13, teases that Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will feel like he’s not cut out for fatherhood. Of course, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) will jump in and offer reassurance.
Perhaps Maxie will point out that Peter’s already slid into a father figure role with James West (Curtis and Owen Rufca), but Peter will still have concerns about the new baby.
GH fans know Peter’s guilty of some awful things, so it’s easy to see why he’ll doubt his own ability to be a daddy. However, Maxie feels like Peter’s truly turned his life around.
After Maxie offers a pep talk, she may even nudge Peter into proposing. Maxie will make a move on Tuesday that shows total confidence, so might hint that she’ll say yes if Peter pops the question.
Peter will indeed get down on one knee – and Maxie won’t look surprised about it. Maybe Maxie will be the reason Peter pulls the trigger on this marriage proposal, but not everyone will be happy about this engagement news.
You can bet Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford) will become even more determined to push Peter out of Maxie’s life.
In the meantime, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will juggle some drama. General Hospital spoilers say Anna will make a significant choice, which might tie in with how she plans to lure Alex Devane Marick (Finola Hughes) to Port Charles.
However, Anna will also face some relationship issues on Tuesday, so let’s talk about some conflict with Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton).
General Hospital spoilers say Finn will get upset over Anna’s protective side. He might get frustrated if Anna doesn’t share enough details about this trap she’s cooking up with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). It’s also possible Anna will overstep in Finn’s family problems, which would certainly rile Finn up.
Regardless, Jackie Templeton (Kim Delaney) will indeed make some waves now that she’s in Port Charles. As Finn’s stepmom and Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) mother, Jackie may worry about causing strife for these half-brothers.
General Hospital spoilers say Jackie will warn Chase not to get involved in the war, which may mean the one going on with Finn. Jackie will fret about the possibility of friendly fire and Chase getting hurt.
Since Jackie’s also working on a story that could sink Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), that may be another matter she wants her son to steer clear of.
As for the secret Chase is keeping about Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen), Jackie will definitely be able to tell he’s not giving her the whole story. Chase may eventually admit things didn’t work out with Willow, but he might push his mom to back off and accept that he doesn’t want to go into details.
Next, Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will spot a familiar face and jokingly throw around some stalker accusations. Valentin has a habit of showing up whenever Nina is, so she might think her former flame is following her.
Whatever the case, Nina will help someone in need on Tuesday’s GH episode. It sounds like Nina will dish out some guidance to Valentin or perhaps another character who could use assistance.
As for Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring), she’ll be pumped about sealing the deal at the upcoming Deception meeting. Little does Lucy know this meeting’s about to go horribly wrong!
Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) will face her own screwups later this week, but Tuesday will bring Sasha Gilmore’s (Sofia Mattsson) not-so-shining moment. After Sasha’s mistakes put the deal at risk, Lucy will flip out and express her disappointment in the secret drug addict.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Julian Jerome (William deVry) will bicker with Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma). Both of them care about Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), but they’ll be at odds over this situation with Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom).
Nikolas and Julian don’t trust each other, so they won’t trust each other to have Ava’s best interests at heart either.
In the visiting area at Pentonville, Ava will suggest she’s got something even better than a divorce for Ryan. He’ll be intrigued as Ava makes another offer and touts the benefits of her vengeful plan. Ava will apparently insist this marriage is only about money, power and revenge.
Will Ryan fall for that or think Ava just doesn’t want to divorce the man she loves? Either way, something tells us Ava isn’t going to get by with mere visits to Pentonville every week. Ryan’s sitting on major leverage here, so he might as well raise the stakes and push for more.
Whether that means sticking with the divorce demands or shooting for an escape plot instead, Ryan needs to use what he’s got!
After this prison meeting concludes, Julian will seek updates from Ava and hope that incriminating letter never lands in Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) hands.
Ava will try to put Julian’s mind at ease later this week, but anything can happen with that letter in wildcard Ryan’s possession! General Hospital spoilers say some curveballs are still to come in Ava’s latest storyline, so keep watching.
