General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Wednesday, September 2, teases that Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) will get some surprising news. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) will bring up the topic of adoption during a conversation with Willow.
Since Michael couldn’t possibly pick a more perfect mother for Wiley Quartermaine-Corinthos (Erik and Theo Olson), he’ll think Willow should adopt him and make it official.
That seems like something Willow would love to do – although she may express concerns about Nelle Benson Jerome (Chloe Lanier) coming back for another round of drama. Nelle already hates Willow for swooping in and acting like Wiley is her son. That hatred could get even worse if Willow adopts Wiley.
Of course, Nelle doesn’t seem like she’ll be an issue anytime soon. Michael thinks Nelle’s on the run, but Nelle actually plummeted off a cliff. Regardless, Nelle isn’t likely to resurface until much later in this story. With Michael’s reassurance, Willow might agree to adopt Wiley and take that formal step to motherhood.
Michael might even confess that he heard Willow talking about their kiss on the baby monitor. They still need to discuss that lip lock and where things stand between them.
It’s easy to see that Willow and Michael are falling in love. They may not be able to admit that yet, but they may be able to admit they’re interested in a real relationship – one that involves more than just being friendly co-parents.
Other General Hospital spoilers say Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) will disapprove of Harrison Chase’s (Josh Swickard) big idea. Chase will want to admit the whole truth to Willow – and he’ll think Sasha should tell Michael the truth as well.
Sasha and Chase didn’t really betray Michael and Willow, so they could come clean now that the custody chaos is over and Nelle’s vanished.
Unfortunately, Sasha won’t agree with Chase’s plan at all. She’ll feel like that’s crazy talk and will want to leave the “Millow” marriage alone. Sasha will make a strong case for why Chase should keep quiet about their plot.
Sasha may feel like it’d tear apart Wiley’s new family, which would defeat the purpose of this mess. Wiley has always been the priority.
Meanwhile, Mike Corbin (Max Gail) will have a wonderful day at the track. This is the best gift Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) could give his dying dad – and Mike will give Sonny a gift in return.
General Hospital spoilers say Mike will thank Sonny and call him his son, so Sonny will be deeply moved. These little moments of recognition mean the world for Sonny since Mike’s fading fast.
As for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright), she’ll still be torn about her next move. Carly realizes it’s risky to keep secrets from Sonny – particularly secrets with Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher).
Even so, Carly hasn’t been eager to drop major Nelle bombs on Sonny right now. Sonny’s got enough on his mind and is trying to say goodbye to his father.
Nevertheless, Carly will contemplate delivering the Nelle cliff shocker on Wednesday. GH spoilers say Carly will be ready to tell Sonny the truth, but there’ll probably be an interruption in the stables.
Next, Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth) will urge Olivia Quartermaine (Lisa LoCicero) to respect Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) wishes. Ned will feel like Dante should be left alone.
Olivia may turn this around and wonder if Ned’s willing to leave ailing Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Briana Lane) alone. Brook Lynn’s pushing Ned away, but that doesn’t mean Ned will just throw in the towel forever.
Ned knows Brook Lynn needs her family to recover. Why should it be any different for Dante, even if his struggles are different mental rather than physical?
While Olivia bickers with Ned, Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will do the same. It seems likely Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will once again become a source of contention. Robert will think Anna can either keep on denying the truth or face what’s right in front of her.
Alas, Anna doesn’t seem prepared to believe Peter’s a scoundrel – especially now that he’s got a baby on the way with Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). Anna wants to believe Peter’s capable of being a good family man, but Robert obviously won’t believe that.
Finally, Maxie will catch up with Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) and discuss something that Lulu views as horrible. We also know Lulu will be an advice-giver on Wednesday. General Hospital spoilers say Lulu will have some guidance for a friend that’s based on her own experience.
Maxie is certainly a friend of Lulu’s, so there may be some relationship advice that Lulu intends to offer up. It’s also possible Lulu will get a push toward visiting injured Brook Lynn, who’s at least a frenemy now.
Lulu suffered a brutal attack at Ryan Chamberlain’s (Jon Lindstrom) hands, so Brook Lynn might like to hear from someone she can relate to.
