General Hospital Spoilers: ‘Vote’ Episode Preview – Laura Wright as Beatrice the Suffragist, All-Female Cast in New Roles

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the ABC soap has a very special episode coming up on Monday, November 2. GH will deliver an election-themed show, which will rewind the clock and take us back to the suffrage movement.

Let’s look at the description General Hospital offered as part of their latest “Vote” preview video. “MONDAY ON #GH… we celebrate the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage and the aftermath of the 19th Amendment. An all-female cast leads the special episode, which is not to be missed.”

As part of this exciting episode, current women on GH will play prominent Port Charles women of the past. “I am Beatrice Eckert the suffragist,” Beatrice says at the beginning of the promo clip. Beatrice is played by Laura Wright (Carly Corinthos), so you get the idea here. It’ll be great to see the cast mix it up!

Beatrice will insist she wants “every woman, every citizen to vote.” Eden McCoy (Josslyn Jacks) and Sydney Mikayla (Trina Robinson) will learn a lot from Beatrice as they play young women from history as well.

Briana Nicole Henry (Jordan Ashford) can be seen making a speech as her own blast-from-the-past character – and there’s also a quick shot of Finola Hughes (Anna Devane) and Brook Kerr (Portia Robinson) wearing costumes in the promo.

“Women need to have our voices heard!” Mikayla’s character says. “I don’t need a man to speak for me,” Maura West (Ava Jerome Cassadine) points out in her latest role. It looks like the goal will be having the women play characters who are a lot like the ones they play in the present.

General Hospital spoilers say Beatrice will lead the charge as she encourages everyone on this historical day. “Voting isn’t just a right; it’s a privilege,” Eden McCoy’s yet-to-be-revealed character concludes. That’ll be the message GH undoubtedly wants viewers to take away from this special election episode.

Rebecca Herbst (Elizabeth Baldwin), Cassandra James (Terry Randolph) and Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) will also be part of the fun. It looks like a ton of effort went into this show, so fans will be eager to see it. As other GH news rolls in, we’ll bring you updates.

General Hospital spoilers say some excitement’s brewing, so remember to watch on Monday, November 2! CDL’s where you want to be for the hottest General Hospital spoilers, updates and news, so stop by often.
