General Hospital Spoilers: Wednesday, November 18 Recap - Brad's Prison Attack - Cyrus Threatens Grandkids - Sonny's War Notice

General Hospital (GH) spoilers recap for Wednesday, November 18, reveal that Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) didn’t immediately believe Julian Jerome (William deVry) when Julian insisted that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) was alive.

As the men stood in the dark pub, Julian went on, saying that Taggert and Sonny have been waiting for the right moment to take Cyrus down.

Julian said that he saw Taggert with his own eyes. “How could they even pull this off?” Cyrus complained, still not believing Julian. Cyrus was single-focused, maintaining that he needed someone to take care of his Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) problem.

Julian refused, saying he wasn’t going to set a bomb that would hurt potentially innocent people.

Cyrus wasn’t having it, and he whipped out his phone and scrolled through pictures of Julian’s kids, grandkids, and Ava Jerome Cassadine (Maura West), threatening them if Julian didn’t do as instructed with the bomb.

Cyrus got pretty whipped up, yelling that Julian was no victim and that he got himself into this mess by asking for Cyrus’ help. Cyrus insisted that a package would be delivered to Julian shortly, with instructions to come.

“One more thing,” Cyrus said before he left, noting that he took care of the last loose end that could tie Julian to Wiley Quartermaine Corinthos’ (Erik and Theo Olson) kidnapping.

“What loose end?” Julian asked, worried that it might be Ava. Cyrus said he wasn’t talking about Ava, and that the package would be arriving shortly. After Cyrus left, someone knocked on the door to the pub.

At the hospital, Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) asked Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) why he and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) would lie about something like cheating.

Chase explained how he and Sasha wanted Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow to marry for Wiley’s sake. Willow was horrified, and after rehashing all the details of the fake affair saga, Chase said that he still loved Willow.

Willow didn’t know what to make of the whole situation, and she took off all flustered, to get back to Michael and Sasha. Meanwhile, in Sasha’s room, Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) told Michael about Sasha and Chase faking their affair.

Michael was peeved at Carly for knowing this and not telling him, but finally he softened a bit and just wanted to sit with Sasha.

After Carly left the room, Michael talked to an unconscious Sasha about the lie, and he said that his son’s life was better now because of the sacrifice she made. “How can I repay that debt?” Michael said, taking Sasha’s hand. Willow stood in the doorway, watching and crying.

Out near the nurses’ station, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) asked Jason why he was confiding in her about Cyrus’ plan for the hospital. “I’m guessing you didn’t sign up for this – you’re not a drug trafficker,” Jason said.

Jason wanted Britt to be his source for information on the drug situation at GH, and Britt balked, saying she didn’t want to help start a mob war.

“I think you’ll do the right thing when the time comes,” Jason said. After Jason left, Britt got on the phone and asked for a complete inventory of the hospital’s pharmaceutical department.

Suddenly, a patient was wheeled in on a gurney in awful condition after being attacked in his cell at Pentonville. Britt was horrified to see that it was Brad Cooper (Parry Shen).

At the Corinthos house, Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) told Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) that he had Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) attacked so he’d never hurt Ava again.

Sonny didn’t immediately believe it, but then he blasted Nikolas for not getting the job done, since Ryan was in a coma and not dead. Sonny told Nikolas to clean up his mess.

After Sonny left the room, Ava asked Nikolas why he lied to Sonny about putting the hit on Ryan. “I’m not an idiot,” Nikolas said. “Either you or your brother had something to do with it.”

Ava thought this was almost sweet of Nikolas, and Nikolas suggested that Ava convince Julian to disappear before his house of cards collapsed on him.

Sonny went to the terrace, where Taggert was waiting for him. Taggert said that Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) knew that he’s back in Port Charles, which didn’t impress Sonny. Sonny warned Taggert that this “Cold War” with Cyrus wasn’t going to remain that way much longer.
