General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that fans were treated to some sweet scenes between Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Mike Corbin (Max Gail) on September 11. As Joss prepared for the end, she thought about all the milestones Mike would miss. There were so many things Joss wished Mike could’ve stuck around to see – like her homecoming night, graduation, wedding day and pregnancy announcement.
GH fans saw some fantasy moments between Mike and Josslyn, who was wearing a bridal gown following her nuptials at one point. It turns out that bridal gown was significant for a couple reasons. We’ll let Eden McCoy explain! Here’s what McCoy revealed in response to a fan’s tweet about her being a young bride.
“fun fact: that dress is the dress Laura @lldubs wore to marry Sonny on my 1st episode,” McCoy said on Twitter. “so yeah, i died of happiness. #GH” It’s adorable that McCoy wore the same gown her TV mom wore! Since it was also from McCoy’s very first episode, that was just icing on the cake.
Many GH viewers were thrilled over this blast from the past and praised the show for including it. “That is so sweet! What a great throwback! This is one of those payoffs you can only get from a show with such a long history. There are some smart folks working on @GeneralHospital!” one fan tweeted. “That’s so cool,” said another overjoyed GH watcher. “Love that use of history.”
Of course, there were also plenty of comments about how much McCoy resembles Wright. Joss really does look like a young Carly thanks to the excellent casting decision the show made. McCoy has certainly grown as an actor during her time on General Hospital – and we hope there are many more years to come!
