General Hospital Spoilers: Will Drew Return for Sam Reunion – End of ‘JaSam’ Brings ‘Dream’ Revival, Franco’s Story Sets Up Comeback?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) remains concerned about the mob life she’s gotten herself into. Sam loves Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), but the world he lives in brings plenty of danger to her life as well as the lives of her children.

Danny Morgan (Porter Fasullo) was almost killed recently – and that’s because Jason has a deadly target on his back. As Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) right-hand man, that target’s never really going away.

Of course, Danny is Jason’s son and that brings a certain level of risk anyway. For example, Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) could go after Danny whether Sam’s with Jason or not.

Jason’s relationship status doesn’t change the fact that Danny is connected to him – and so is Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri) since Jason loves her as if she were his own daughter.

Sam would have to leave Port Charles and cut off all contact with Jason to keep her kids truly safe. Nevertheless, it could at least help if Sam put some distance between herself and Jason.

This could prevent future enemies from getting too close – people who aren’t as in the loop as Cyrus. It might be easier for Sam, Danny and Scout to live under the mob radar.

With all this in mind, Sam may wind up choosing a new life without Jason by her side. Since Sam’s still going to need a love interest if that happens, this seems like a great opportunity to bring Drew Cain (Billy Miller) back from the dead.

Drew is only presumed dead anyway, so it’d be easy for GH writers to claim he survived that plane crash.

It’s intriguing that Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) has started remembering Drew’s memories in his dreams. This is part of Peter August’s (Wes Ramsey) looming takedown, which obviously connects to Drew, too.

Peter played a much larger role in the memory-mapping project than he let on and was involved in the kidnapping plot for Drew in Afghanistan.

Orchestrating Drew’s demise is one of the worst things Peter has ever done, so it’d be in their best interest to undo that if Peter sticks around. It just feels like there are an awful lot of Drew mentions going on and easy ways for Drew to get back in the action.

General Hospital spoilers say this Drew angle could easily set up the character’s return.

Drew is the twin who could provide more safety to Sam. If Drew returns – even with a new actor serving as a recast – Sam could live a much safer life with him than with Jason.

They could get back to running Aurora Media together and find a new path to happiness. That’d make many “Dream” fans happy and would bring some great drama as Jason watched Sam move on with his brother.

Could GH writers be setting up a Drew and Sam reunion? Will the end of “JaSam” set up a “Dream” revival? We’ll keep you posted as other news and updates emerge.
