General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Friday, December 4, teases that Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will fume over Julian Jerome (William deVry) planting the bomb at The Floating Rib. After Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) fill Carly in, she’ll certainly hope Sonny’s going to seek revenge.
Sonny may admit he’s working on it, but there’s a bit of a hurdle since Julian Jerome (William deVry) is missing. Carly might be surprised and even impressed over Ava Jerome Cassadine’s (Maura West) plan to shoot her brother. She’ll only be sorry Sonny and Jason’s arrival threw off Ava’s plans!
Julian jumped off the parapet, but Sonny pointed out that others have survived a similar fall. With Jason’s help, Sonny will keep up the search and hope he can bring Julian to his own kind of justice.
Although GH fans know Julian is alive, Ava remains under the impression that he faced a grim fate. She just revealed to Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) that Julian is dead because of her, so she’ll explain how she was armed and ready to shoot him before he bolted over the ledge.
Nikolas won’t understand what had Ava mad enough to murder her brother. Of course, Ava still loves Julian and hated that it came down to it. The real question here is: Will Ava confess about Julian planting the bomb and causing Lulu Spencer’s (Emme Rylan) coma?
Regardless, Nikolas and Ava will be on the same page in Friday’s episode. There’ll be an understanding about their marriage and putting each other first, so this couple should remain strong. Jasper “Jax” Jacks (Ingo Rademacher) and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), on the other hand, will run into a little snag.
That’s because Nina will have so many kind things to say about Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), who was supportive and gentle in the aftermath of the explosion. Valentin stepped up for Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) in a big way and even pushed Lulu to come back to their daughter.
Since Nina will sense a real change in Valentin, jealous Jax will be curious what this means. Is Nina leaning in the direction of forgiveness now? Nina may acknowledge that she’s moved past a lot of her anger, but she can’t forget the pain Valentin caused.
However, Nina will make it clear that Jax is her man now. Just because Nina approves of the changes in Valentin doesn’t mean she wants him back…yet.
Meanwhile, Josslyn Jacks’ (Eden McCoy) jaw will drop when Trina Robinson (Sydney Mikayla) reveals that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrews) is alive. Joss will be shocked once again when Trina reveals where this information came from.
Since Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) divulged the truth about Trina’s father, Josslyn is bound to be suspicious. She may think Trina’s first instinct was right and argue that it’s probably a lie.
Nevertheless, Trina obviously can’t let this go without looking into it. If there’s a chance she can reunite with her dad, Trina has to dig for answers.
Josslyn will likely insist Sonny needs to know Cyrus reached out, but Trina may push her bestie to leave her stepfather out of this. Trina might believe she stands a better shot of getting the real story if the war subsides. Joss won’t like the idea of keeping all this a secret, but Trina will push for a promise that it’ll stay between them – and perhaps Cameron Webber (William Lipton) soon enough.
Next, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) will get a visit from a curious Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Chase will pump Britt for info, so she’ll probably have to artfully dodge a question or two. Britt is employed by Cyrus and secretly helping Sonny as well as Jason. A drug lord, a mobster, a hitman…
That’s a lot of crime layers, so it’s best if Britt mostly keeps her mouth shut! As for Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson), she’ll wish Chase had kept his own mouth shut once he confesses. Sasha will freak when she realizes Chase told Willow Corinthos (Katelyn MacMullen) about the faux cheating.
Sasha will wonder how Chase could do that, but how could he not? Willow was blaming herself and Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was a mess following Sasha’s overdose. Chase did what he had to do, but Sasha will worry about what’s going to happen next. She may not be sure what the best outcome is anymore.
The same goes for Michael and Willow, who’ll face the reality of the situation on Friday. It’ll be time for Willow and Michael to discuss where things stand between them. Does the truth about the fake affair change anything about their marriage?
General Hospital spoilers say Michael will express relief once Monday rolls around, so they may stick to their vows for now. Whatever the case, this won’t be the final discussion on the matter. Look for Michael and Willow to have another in-depth conversation that leads to an agreement next week.
