General Hospital Spoilers: Will Greg Vaughan Return as Lucky Spencer? – Fans Want Exiting Days of Our Lives Star Back on GH

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that one soap’s loss could be another soap’s gain – at least if GH takes advantage of an amazing opportunity. Greg Vaughan plays Eric Brady on Days of Our Lives, but he recently confirmed he wrapped filming at the NBC soap. Since Vaughan previously portrayed Lucky Spencer on GH, this is General Hospital’s chance to snatch him back up!

Although many viewers love Jonathan Jackson’s portrayal and consider him the true Lucky, Vaughan had plenty of fans in the role as well. They were different versions, but they both had some good qualities. It isn’t easy to pull off a recast of a popular character, but Vaughan managed to do it.

Vaughan’s Lucky had excellent chemistry with Elizabeth Webber (Rebecca Herbst), so that’s a pairing tons of Lucky and Liz fans would like to see revisited. Plus, Vaughan is just a handsome and talented actor all around. GH would be LUCKY to have him!

It’d be great to see Vaughan make a comeback as Lucky, especially since the show will need some exciting things to pull viewers back in. General Hospital has already been dropping hints about Dante Falconeri’s (Dominic Zamprogna) potential return, so maybe Lucky could be next.

Now that Nikolas Cassadine (Marcus Coloma) is back on canvas, it’d be nice for Laura Collins (Genie Francis) to have Lucky home, too.

Although kids probably won’t be used on set for a while due to the unnecessary risk, Lucky could still do things with Aiden Webber (Jason David) off screen. It’s been a shame for Lucky to miss most of Aiden’s childhood, so he needs to return before Aiden’s all grown up.

There’s really no disadvantage to having a key player like Lucky on GH again, especially when a hunk like Vaughan could be playing him! Vaughan revealed his Days departure news on Steve Burton (Jason Morgan) and Bradford Anderson’s (Damian Spinelli) podcast, so he’s still got General Hospital connections.

Although Vaughan also has a role on OWN’s Queen Sugar, he could easily head on back to GH once that commitment wraps up. Now’s the time for General Hospital to make a call and extend an offer! Would you like to see Greg Vaughan return to GH as Lucky Spencer?
