British royals news reveals that Kate Middleton’s brother James Middleton recently suffered a heartbreaking loss. James is well-known for being a dog owner and if you follow him on Instagram, then you know that he frequently posts about what’s going on with his beloved pups. In fact, a recent post showcased his dogs sitting around the dining room table with kibble on their plates with the hashtag #bestdinnerpartyever.
James is Kate Middleton’s younger brother, and his Instagram account is heavily dedicated to his dogs. His banner reads: “Dog dad to Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, & Nala” and he’s also an ambassador for Pets As Therapy, which is a charity providing therapeutic pet visits to care homes, hospitals, schools, and other organizations.
James recently introduced his newest dog, Nala, who is the daughter of one of his other dogs, Zulu. At the time he posted Nala’s introduction to the world, he also promised some more very exciting news coming soon. Well, that exciting news turned out to be a new litter of pups!
On May 31st, James announced that his dog Luna had a litter of puppies. And while that is certainly happy news, there is some sadness to report along with the birth. James reported that Luna had to be rushed into emergency surgery to deliver some of the puppies, one of which didn’t survive the delivery.
James posted some pictures and a video of the six surviving puppies, along with the following caption: “6 little friends for Nala to play with. A week ago, Luna had three little pups at 5am, but we had to rush to the vets or an emergency c-section where another four pups were delivered. Sadly, one didn’t make it, but there are six healthy little pups suckling away happy as can be.”
James continued: “They all have lovely homes waiting for them, and I will be donating all the money from the sale of the pups to @petsastherapy_uk.”
Previously, Kate Middleton’s brother James has been very open about how his dogs have helped him in his battle with depression, and he enjoys encouraging others to interact with pets as a means of coping. Back in April, James announced that he was launching the Paw Print Fund, which helps raise funds for animal welfare charities.
James’ followers have been reaching out to express their congratulations on the new litter of puppies, as well as to thank James for donating the proceeds from selling the puppies to charity. One person wrote: “Very sweet to be donating the money to a charity.” And someone else commented: “Beautiful puppies, sorry about the pup who didn’t make it.”
We send our best wishes for the new litter and wish them all well in their new homes. Be sure to check back here at CDL for more British royals news and updates.
