British royals news reveals that royal watchers can now purchase home fragrance candles that are scented with either Kate Middleton or Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in mind. The candles are available on Etsy and they’re quite a hit.
We’ll start with the Kate Middleton Scented Candle, which is $20 at the Etsy shop called “iheartpopcandles.” According to the candle’s description, “the effect this candle will have on your room will be website crashing, trend setting, royally classy, and guarantee that every other candle in the house will want to smell just like it.”
The scent of the Kate Middleton candle is said to be “Garden Flowers” and its ingredients are listed as: “love, soy wax, essential oils, cotton wick, frosted glass jar.” And we should note that the label is lovely – it includes several photos of Kate and looks very classy.
Whether this candle was inspired by Kate’s favorite flowers is unknown, but it has been reported that among her favorites are lilies, hyacinths, ivy, and myrtle, all of which were part of her royal wedding bouquet when she married Prince William back in 2011.
There’s also a Prince Harry and Meghan Markle scented candle in the same Etsy store. The description of the Harry and Meghan Scented Candle says that it smells like “I no longer want to be a candle, so I’m breaking hundreds of years of tradition, moving to Canada, and choosing not to be.”
The scent of the Prince Harry and Meghan Markle candle is said to be “Vancouver Island Forest,” which is of course a nod to the fact that Harry and Meghan first moved to Canada before moving to Los Angeles, where they’re now residing in Tyler Perry’s Hollywood Hills home.
Each candle has received 5-star ratings from what we can tell and sells for $20. One person who purchased and reviewed the Kate Middleton Scented Candle wrote, “I love it! It smells so nice!” The candles apparently have 50 hours of burn time each, and they ship from the US.
