British royals news reveals that Kate Middleton’s brother James Middleton has just announced a new business venture. James, who has been quite upfront about his battle with clinical depression, made the announcement of his venture, which has everything to do with his love of dogs and was borne from his battle with depression.
James Middleton posts frequently on Instagram about his dogs, which are therapeutic for him. James has six pups right now, which are all prominent fixtures on his feed: Ella, Zulu, Inka, Luna, Mabel, & Nala. James is also an ambassador for Pets As Therapy, which is a UK Charity that provides pet visits to care homes, hospitals, and schools.
Well, recently, James posted a short video to launch his new company called Ella & Co., which is a happiness and well-being company for dogs that’s currently focusing on creating the perfect raw diet for dogs. Ella & Co. sells freeze-dried raw dog food. In the video, James’ dogs take center stage as James describes his company’s mission and the main product: dog food.
And in the caption, James Middleton describes the inspiration for Ella & Co. James states that he remembers sitting in his therapist’s chair with his dog Ella by his side.
James had taken a leave of absence from his company at the time to focus on his clinical depression. “With tears in my eyes I said, ‘what am I going to do next’ – I had zero confidence and felt like a complete failure,” James said.
James then explained that the therapist said, “do something you love – you love your dogs and have so much confidence around them, so why not try to include them in your next venture.” And that began James’ journey of Ella & Co.
James continued in his caption: “I am extremely proud to be launching @ella.co – this is not just a business, this is my heart & soul, I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you. Ella has been my inspiration & I want to do everything I can to give back to her and the rest of my wonderful dogs for everything they have done for me over the years. The first step in my journey: creating the perfect balanced diet.”
It’s great to see James, who is Kate Middleton’s younger brother, channeling his efforts into something he loves so dearly. James first revealed his battle with depression in January of 2019, citing Kate Middleton’s charity “Heads Together” as his motivation to speak out candidly on the topic.
