Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s Coronavirus Scare - Hugged Lewis Hamilton After COVID-19 Exposure

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are taking coronavirus precautions after learning Lewis Hamilton was exposed to two positive cases of the illness. Just two days after the race car driver was exposed, he was hugged by Harry. The couple is now “taking government advice.”

Charity Event Attendees Test Positive For COVID-19

Recently, Hamilton attended a charity event in London. He appeared at the function with Idris Elba and Sophie Grégoire Trudeau. Both Elba and Trudeau have since tested positive for coronavirus. This means that Hamilton was possibly exposed to the virus, but the race car driver has not revealed if he has been tested or if he’s experiencing any symptoms.

Due to the exposure, Hamilton could have spread the infection to others without realizing it.

Royals News: Hugging Lewis Hamilton

Just two days after that charity event, Prince Harry hugged Hamilton, according to People. This means that Harry may have contracted COVID-19. Not only is he at risk, but so is his family and anyone he came into contact with.

Prince Harry’s Family Taking Government Advice

A source told the magazine that Harry and Meghan are taking government advice,

“Like everyone, they are taking government advice, and if and when they are specifically made aware of being in contact with someone who has tested positive they will act accordingly.”

Meghan Markle Tried To Protect Son From Coronavirus

When visiting the UK, Meghan did not bring her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. There was a lot of speculation that the couple was busy on their farewell tour. Some even claimed it was to intentionally keep Archie from Queen Elizabeth and other members of the Royal Family. However, it turns out that it was for an entirely different reason.

It was recently explained that Meghan didn’t want to risk her son getting sick. In her efforts to protect her child, Meghan opted to keep him in Canada. Unfortunately, it seems that her safety plan for Archie didn’t work. He now has possibly been exposed to coronavirus, which is spreading throughout the world at an alarming rate.

Royal Family’s Pandemic Precautions Increase

As for the rest of the Royal Family, they are taking even more measures to protect themselves from the infection. Queen Elizabeth reportedly left Buckingham Palace last week and went to Windsor.

Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles canceled their overseas tour. Many royals have been advised to postpone or cancel engagements and to practice social distancing. Several have even stopped giving handshakes and are prepared to self-isolate if and when it comes necessary.
