Daniel is packing, his brother gives him a hard time. And, on the other side, Noa’s manager is giving her a hard time as well. And, both the brother and the manager both say they are going to throw up if they here anymore how they like each other.
Daniel’s father tells him not to get carried away, he promises he won’t. In the private jet, Daniel sips champagne and smiles. In San Juan, Puerto Rico, Noa is getting ready for her event. Daniel sits with her, she says she has to practice her speech for that evening. Lewis walks in and tells Noa that Melanie Caan is on the island and it is time for her to meet her and show her how fabulous she is. Lewis gives an NDA to Daniel to sign, Noa says he doesn’t have to, but he does. Lewis tells Daniel, no kissing and no touching, the media can’t know that they are having a relationship. And when he thinks of Noa, he wants him to think Kennedys, not Kardashian.
Daniel takes a walk through the city and takes a video to send to his family.
Vanessa is showing a house, and watching a video of Daniel in Puerto Rico at the same time. The client tells her that he lost the DJ for his son’s bar mitzvah, Vanessa says she might be able to help him out, she knows someone.
Mateo gets a text but hides it.
Mari shows Rafael the video of Daniel from Natalie’s phone when she gets a text from Amy, she tells her mom she is a friend from school. Mari grabs the phone and invites Amy over, Natalie is more upset that she put three emojis in the text.
Noa’s ex has shown up, Daniel asks her if she is ok, if not she will tell him how bad his last two movies were. Noa sits down for an interview, she gets the same question over and over again and has to smile and give a great answer every time. Now, one of the reports asks Noa about her breakup and Lewis gets involved and has the reporter change the subject.
At the bakery, Vanessa shows up and tells Mateo he could have answered her phone calls. She tells him that she has a job for him as a DJ.
Natalie’s friend shows up at the bakery, Mari is excited, Rafael tries to stop her before she embarrasses Natalie. Mari tells Natalie to take the afternoon off and have fun.
Daniel takes Noa to another part of the island for lunch at a local place, then a walk on the beach. They then go play pool and dance in a bar. Noa leans in and kisses Daniel, the two have a blast. They end up having drinks outside by the water and she tells Daniel that he is a natural on camera when she takes a video of him and a local making her lunch.
Daniel asks her if she likes to act, she says yes, but she doesn’t tell many people. She goes on to tell him a story of when she was little, she didn’t have a family, she had a mom sometimes, a dad never, so she used to create her own worlds, her own characters. Lewis thinks she is crazy, she has too much to lose and there is no upside. Daniel tells her about Mateo when he wanted to be a director. Just as they are about to kiss, Lewis calls and beckons her back, Melanie Caan wants to meet her.
Natalie and Amy are in the bedroom talking when Mateo interrupts and asks how he looks, then Mari comes in and invites Amy to dinner.
Mateo goes to see Vanessa’s client, he finds out that it is a bar mitzvah, he tells him that he is an artist and shouldn’t be limited. The guys tell him that he is not hiring him. Vanessa is upset, she tells Mateo that he is the head of a record company. Mateo wants to go fix things, Vanessa tells him to follow her and do exactly what she says.
Noa meets Melanie, who gives her a cheque for her foundation and she wants to offer her a role. It is being filmed in Toronto and her ex is going to be there.
Mari is on the phone with Daniel getting gossip on his trip with Noa. Her ex is there and she tells him that she is upset, they are not friends. Afterward, Daniel tells her she should do it, follow her dreams; Lewis agrees with him. Piper walks in and she looks wet and a mess. She tells them that a water main broke and everything is ruined, the whole gala, the food, there is nothing for all the guests who paid money to attend.
Lewis said they are not going to give up. Daniel says how about a whole island of cuisine.
Daniel gets everyone to help, his Cuban friend brings all the decorations, music, and the food for a gala – with twenty minutes to spare.
Amy tells Natalie she thought it was a lie that her brother knew Noa Hamilton. Amy says she once told a boy she had herpes when he tried to kiss her, but then he told the whole school. Amy asks Natalie if she likes boys or girls. Nathalie doesn’t know what to say, Amy goes to kiss her and her mother storms in the door with snacks. Natalie tells her mother that Amy was just about to leave. Amy says goodnight and leaves.
The gala is off to a good start, Noa poses for pictures and everyone is smiling.
Mateo tells Vanessa that she was incredible getting him that job, she tells him that he is family and she hopes that Daniel comes to his senses. She says one more thing before she leaves, she gets 10% of everything.
Noa says help to her guests, she thanks everyone for being there and thanks to their generous contributions they will soon be constructing twelve additional schools. Then she tells everyone that everything for the gala was destroyed and that her friends rebuilt and improvised – and made something magical. Furthermore, when you do things with love you can overcome the biggest obstacles.
Daniel thanks his Cuban friend, Colin Davis walks up to Daniel and introduces himself. They talk about her acting in his next film, says they leave tomorrow and she won’t have time for anything. He just wanted to let him know, bro to bro. Daniel says he loves how celebrities like him have to smile in public even when they make an ass out of themselves.
He then says to stop him if he is wrong. Noa broke it off, he begged her to get back together, Noa said no, then she asked him not to come to this event and now he showed up and he is using her dream to get back near her. Noa walks up to speak to Colin, she tells him to thank you for making her decision easy, she is telling Melanie that she is not taking that role. Daniel is walking around when Noa whispers in his ear, wants to get out of here.
At home, Mateo is excited because he got booked for the gig. His mom tells both she and his dad that Natalie is upset. Mateo goes to see Natalie, he asks what happened with Amy. He goes to sit on the bed and tells her that he has eyes. She says she told her to leave, she likes her and thinks she really likes her, and she freaked out. Mateo tells her to call Amy.
Noa tells Daniel that nobody can see them leave together, they both go separate ways.
At home, Rafael tells Mari that he is worried about Daniel. People like Noa Hamilton are not like them, they don’t live in the real world. He doesn’t want Daniel to get used to that, live some fantasy. If he does get swept in it, what happens when he falls back to earth.
Daniel and Noa are kissing and someone is taking pictures of the two.
